Teclast P72 Android Tablet

Teclast is offering their new Android tablet called the P72. As far as specs, the device has a 7.0-inch 800 x 480 resistive multi-touch display, a Renesas ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Other specs include 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, Flash 10.2 support, 1080p Full HD video playback support, WiFi, 3G card support, a 4000mAh battery and Android 2.2. The P72 will cost you 799 Yuan ($125). Interested?

All of Time Inc’s Publications Will Be Available As Tablet Editions By 2012

If you are a fan of Time Inc’s publications, you’ll be happy to know that it will be bringing all its 21 publications out as tablet editions before the end of the year. Time Inc. is the first major U.S. magazine publisher to make all of its titles available specifically for tablet devices.

Time Inc. has also announced a new agreement with Barnes & Noble to sell digital subscriptions of its publications on the NOOK Color e-reader. No surprise there. The new e-reader editions will be available toward the end of August.

Qualcomm Renames Its Snapdragon Processors

Qualcomm has announced a new naming scheme for its Snapdragon processors. The idea is to make it easier for consumers to understand what is powering their device. Now Qualcomm Snapdragon processors will be known as S1,S2, S3 and S4. The higher the number the faster the processor.

That should keep things simple for those who have a hard time keeping track. The S4 processors will encompass Qualcomm’s new range of Quad-Core processors which have yet to be launched, while the S1 range will include processors designed for mass market smartphones.

LG Revolution To Get Bugfix Update

LG Revolution users on Verizon LTE are about to get a new OTA update for their smartphones very soon. Not Gingerbread on the Revolution just yet, but VS910ZV6 has new apps, updates, and bugfixes in the meantime.

Verizon will provide you with its latest VCAST media apps, as well as provide updates for some of the pre-installed titles on the Revolution. None of the bugfixes address any serious problems with the phone itself, but they’ll make sure that it works the way you expect it to, with proper call notifications when in vibrate mode, auto-correct not turning on by default, album art displaying correctly etc.

How smart is your washing machine? Not as smart as LGs latest. It comes equipped with an app for Android phones that allows you to control the washing machine right from your Android smartphone.

The app has several functions offering a status check of the laundry, changing the scheduled time, preventing wrinkles and more. The LG Smart Washing Machine will be released in South Korea for about $165,000.

ViewSonic reveals 24-inch V3D245 3D monitor

Haven’t gone 3D yet. You are far from the only one. But if you want to get your 3D on, ViewSonic is offering this 24-inch V3D245 monitor. It features a 1080p LED-backlit panel, an NVIDIA 3D Vision wireless emitter and a pair of 3D Vision glasses.

Other features include a 120Hz refresh rate, two millisecond response time, HDMI 1.4 socket and 300 nits of brightness. There’s also a three-year limited warranty. It will cost you $499 later this month.

Asus Eee Slider 32GB coming

The Eee Slider has many people drooling over it’s sleek lines and specs and there’s news that a 32GB model of the Asus Eee Slider will be coming our way soon, but that also means that they will ditch the 16GB model. Folks in Europe will be able to get the 32GB model for €499, we just don’t know when.

We also have no info on what the delay is about, but it is likely a software issue. There is a 3G version coming in 2012 as well.

EKing claims to be world’s thinnest tablet PC

Apple’s iPad 2 and Samsung’s new Galaxy Tabs are among the thinnest tablets on the market today. Well, there’s a new thinnest tablet on the scene according to an announcement made by a Chinese manufacturer known as Shenzhen Guangxuntong Communication Technology.

They have developed what they claim is the “world’s thinnest tablet PC’, and it comes in the form of its new EKing T9 device. The EKing T9 sports a 9.7-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display and Intel’s Z670 processor which is clocked at 1.5GHz. The EKing T9 tablet is also said to feature 2GB of memory, along with both front and rear-facing cameras.

The white Samsung Galaxy S II has been spotted. This leaked snap appears just one day after a UK retailer promised that it would go on sale August 15th. We don’t know if that’s true, but we know that you can now sign-up for “more info” on Samsung’s website.

In any event US fans of this phone should be hearing more from the company soon. So do you like your phones in white or black? Or do you want another color entirely?

Razer has a new set of gaming headphones called the Razer Electra, which are specifically designed for tablet and smartphone gamers. They have enhanced bass response with optimized drivers, as well as replaceable sound-isolating leatherette ear cushions.

It also has a detachable rubber sheathed audio cable and detachable inline microphone audio cable for voice communication. However the combined inline cable microphone only works in a port that mixes audio and microphone capability, like many smartphone and tablet jacks.

Most bags just hold stuff and that’s it. They do their job and nothing more. Well, ThinkGeek has a new offering that puts a playable instrument on it. It’s called the Electronic Rock Guitar Bag. The name says it all. This bag plays music.

The music plays through a little amplifier that you can hang on the front of the bag. How cool is that? The guitar is played by swiping your thumb across the strings on the bottom and you can make real chords on the neck. The bag has room for up to a 17-inch laptop and has two large pockets and six small pockets with a zippered phone pouch.

LG IPS225V-BN Full HD Monitor

LG has another Full HD monitor, the IPS225V-BN ready for Japan. This monitor features an IPS (In Plane Switching) panel, 21.5-inches of screen real estate and LED-backlighting with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution.

There’s also a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 degree viewing angles. It comes with DVI-D, mini D-Sub and HDMI. The IPS225V-BN is scheduled to hit Japan in mid-August for around 24,000 Yen (about $308).
