ECS EB-850R Color e-book Reader

The ECS EB-850R color e-book reader is being shown off at Computex 2011 and features an 8-inch (800 x 600) color resistive touchscreen with a Wondermedia 8650 processor, either 256MB or 512MB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage.

The device is powered by Google Android 2.2 and also features a microSDHC card reader for storage expansion, Wi-FI and optional 2G/3G. This eReader is compatible with ePUB, PDF, FB2, TXT, CHM, RTF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, MP3, AAC, OGG and WAV file formats.

Onkyo has announced the X-U1 Micro Hi-Fi system in Japan. This system is priced at 35,000 Yen and for your money the music player features a CD player, an FM tuner, a pair of speakers (15W x 2ch output) and of course a USB port.

Other features include an iPod/iPhone/iPad cradle and a remote controller, so you can control the Onkyo X-U1 from anywhere you want. The X-U1 is also compatible with MP3 files. It has your music needs covered.

LG LW4500 3D Cinema TV Series Now Available In Korea And Europe

LG has launched the LG LW4500 3D cinema TV series in South Korea and Europe. These LCD TVs offer brighter, sharper images at any angle. The lightweight and affordable glasses are battery free and certified flicker-free and come in a variety of colors and styles. Not that that helps much. No one likes to wear 3D glasses.

Other features of the LG LW4500 3D cinema TV series include a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and DivX Plus HD support. It’s compatible with most multimedia files including MKV, AVI, TS, MP4, WMV HD, WMA, MP3 and AVCHD. The 32-inch LG LW4500 retails for 799 Euros ($1,136) and the 55-inch model retails for 1,899 Euros ($2,700).

JVC RD-D2 BoomBox

This strange looking boombox is designed for street dancers and musicians. Even though it looks like it was made for a Dalek. It’s the new JVC RD-R2 BoomBox, which is equipped with a microSD/SDHC slot, allowing you to store and play music from a memory card of up to 32GB of storage capacity.

The JVC RD-D2 comes with a pair of 2.5-Watt speakers, countdown timer, a USB port, an FM tuner, a guitar input, a KORG/metronome tuner and an automatic hand clapping feature to help with your rhythm. It can also record music through a built-in stereo mic. The JVC RD-D2 BoomBox is compatible with MP3/WMA/linear PCM (WAV) and AAC file formats. It will be released in Japan next month for about $460.

Funko 501 Clone Trooper Fold-Up Headphones

Klipsch has introduced three new iPhone-compatible headphones in the Image One, Image S5i Rugged and Image S3. The Klipsch Image One is the company’s first on-ear headphones and features a three-button remote specially made for the iPhone, iPod or iPad.

The Klipsch Image S5i Rugged headphones come with a three button remote that can survive some moisture, but isn’t fully waterproof. Lastly, the Klipsch Image S3 headphones can be used with any device like an iPod or an MP3 player since it features a 3.5mm audio jack.
