Retro typewriters turned into USB keyboards

If you miss the days of typing away at a slow speed on old typewriters, you can now relive those days on your computer. These retro typewriters have been converted into USB keyboards. They come from Jack Zylkin of usbtypewriters.

He takes old typewriters and converts them into keyboards you can use with modern computers. Pretty damn cool right? A fully-modded USB typewriter will cost you about $400 to $500, or Jack can take your old typewriter and convert it for you for $200.

Hewlett Packard, as you’ve probably noticed today, kicked out a ton of new digital products as part of a special coming out event. HP seemed to particularly go crazy in the laptop department, unveiling some 16 new notebook computers.

The rainbow of new HP laptops focuses across both consumer and business platforms. HP said in summary all of these notebooks are designed with new materials and software features that “enrich the user experience.” To get a general summary press release, check after the jump.
