Most of us have many separate components for our home theater setup, but some prefer the convenience of having everything in a single device to keep things tidy. Mitsubishi has answered the call with an all-in-one system that consists of an HDTV that comes with a built-in Blu-ray and hard disk recorder, among other features.

The REAL LCD-22BLR500 is an all-in-one package 22-inch HD television set that comes with a digital TV tuner, a Blu-ray recorder that features a 500GB hard disk and support for AVCREC.

Mitsubishi is releasing their not so affordable 92-inch 840 3D DLP Home Cinema TV next month. It features a resolution of 1080p, so that you can enjoy your high-definition Bluray and DVD movies the way they were meant to be seen.

The HDTV also uses DLP rear-projection technology, features a built-in emitter, four HDMI inputs, Bluetooth for audio streaming, the Jade user interface and a 120Hz sub-frame refresh rate. It’s priced at a steep $5,999.

Mitsubishi has announced another Full HD Monitor, the Diamondcrysta RDT233WX-Z. This one is for the Japanese market and features a 120Hz IPS panel. The 23.6-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms GTG response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles.

Other features include two built-in 3W speakers, D-Sub, DVI and dual HDMI connectors. The Diamondcrysta RDT233WX-Z will hit Japan on June 29th for an unknown price.

Mitsubishi Electric has launched the RDT233WXL 23-inch Full HD IPS monitor in Japan. It’s not entirely new as it is actually a variant of the recently released RDT233WX series.

It is available in a non-glare model and this new IPS monitor features an 8000:1 contrast ratio, a 250cd/m2 brightness level and Mitsubishi’s enhanced ECO professional mode for better power optimization. We don’t have any info on pricing just yet though.

Mitsubishi Electric has launched a trio of new Blu-ray recorders, the DVR-BZ450, DVR-BZ350 and DVR-BZ250. All three models have the same specifications, with 3D Blu-Ray, BDXL Support, AVCREC, two digital TV tuners, and VoD support.

They come with a dual face remote. One face lets you control your TV and another lets you control your recorder. The models differ with how much storage capacity they offer. The first has 2TB, the second has 1TB and the last has just 500GB.

Mitsubishi has announced the new REAL BHR500 entry-level HDTVs, which come equipped with a built in Blu-ray disc player and recorder, as well as a 500GB hard disk drive. They also support digital TV tuners, a USB slot, an SD card slot and an Ethernet port.

The REAL BHR500 series will come in 4 different sizes, with four different prices. The 40-inch and 46-inch models feature a full HD (1080p) resolution Diamond 120Hz Panel, while the smaller 26-inch and 32-inch models only support 1366 x 728 LCD 120Hz panels. The Mitsubishi REAL BHR500 HDTVs cost between $1,643 and $3,286.

Mitsubishi is downsizing their LCD HDTV market, by shifting the focus to larger sizes. The Japanese company will close some offices and leave the LCD TV business entirely. As the only company still selling rear projection sets to consumers, the plan is to focus on selling DLP and Laservue TVs in sizes above 73-inches where its flat panel competitors rarely reach.

Aside from that, they will continue to sell projectors, display walls, printers and large public display screens to other companies. Seems like a smart decision since the market is crowded.

Chances are most of us have a home theater TV screen from 32 inches to 50 something. But how about a 92 inch TV? Mitsubishi’s new TV is exactly that size and is the latest addition to its 3D Home Cinema TV line. It uses Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology to bring your home theater to life when you’re watching HD or 3D movies.

It packs in 4 HDMI inputs, multiple speakers and speaker outputs to hook up to your audio system and Bluetooth so you can stream audio to the TV. The Mitsubishi 92″ 3D Home Cinema TV will cost you $6,000 and will be available soon.

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has announced a new 3D Starter Pack that allows owners of both Mitsubishi and Samsung 3D-ready DLP TVs to enjoy 3D home entertainment. The Mitsubishi 3DC-100S is available online right now and offers two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses, a 3D emitter, an updated 3D adapter with remote, an HDMI cable, and a Disney 3D Blu-ray disc full of 3D trailers of movies.

The new 3D starter pack will cost $449.99 and converts all mandatory 3D signal formats prescribed by HDMI 1.4a for display on Mitsubishi and Samsung 3D DLP TVs.

The 3D TVs just keep on coming and Mitsubishi is introducing some 3D TVs that offer an integrated Blu-ray player/recorder and hard drive. Of course, they’re not cheap. They will cost you $5,900, $4,700, and $3,500 for the 55-inch, 46-inch, and 40-inch models respectively.

At least for those prices they will come bundled with a pair of 3D glasses. They should go on sale on October 21st in Japan. Specifications of all three models are identical and include a Full HD LCD panel, LED backlight, Blu-ray burner that can play 3D Blu-ray discs, 1TB hard drive, DIATONE speaker system, USB and HDMI ports and an SD memory card slot.

Mitsubishi has confirmed the availability of their new 3D Full HD Laser TV for the Japanese market. The Mitsubishi 75-LT1 uses the company’s Laser technology to provide a color range that is twice that which is found on a normal HDTV and also reduces the power consumption.

The Mitsubishi 75-LT1 features a 75-inch Full HD panel (1920 x 1080) that is capable of displaying 3D images using the side-by-side format, BS.110/CS Digital TV tuner, five HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, a D-Sub port, three S-Video ports, a couple of 10W speakers and two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses.

Mitsubishi has announced three new lines of “affordable” 3D Home Cinema TVs. The most interesting model is the 82-inch DLP with 3D for just under $4,000. Sure DLP will bulk it up some, but if that’s a trade off you are willing to make, that’s not a bad price.

The WD-82738 adds StreamTV Internet Media, with applications like Pandora to Vudu to NY Times. The WD-82838 is another 82-inch set for $4,500, which also includes Immersive Sound Technology, and an integrated 16-speaker 5.1 surround sound system.

If you’re looking for something a tad more Earth friendly in a monitor, this may be for you. Mitsubishi Electric has released a new addition to its Diamondcrysta WIDE family of monitors, the RDT232WLM. This new model features a 23-inch TN panel as well as an ECO Mode that will lower power consumption by as much as 35%.

That’s pretty decent my eco-loving friends. It’s available in black or white and has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a 1000:1 contrast ratio (5000:1 DCR), D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs, and a couple of 1W speakers.

Most plastics in stores, in our homes and in our recycling bins are recyclable, but not very much of that actually gets recycled. Only about 6%. And that’s understandable. It’s hard for humans to sort through all those types of plastics. Plus we’re lazy and we tend to daydream a lot. That’s where a robot comes in handy.

This robot was designed by Mitsubishi and Osaka University and uses lasers to sort through all kinds of plastics very quickly. It has five different lasers that measure the reflectivity of each kind of plastic, allowing it to sort them all out.

I would certainly like some OLED HDTV action in my living room. I would gladly give up my plasma TV that is several years old already for newer tech with a better picture. The bag thing about OLED sets right now is that they are crazy expensive and small.

Mitsubishi has pulled the wraps off a new prototype OLED display that fixes one problem with OLED displays and compounds another. The set fixes the size issue with 149-inches of OLED glory. The price of the screen would make my wallet cry I am sure.
