Logitech diNovo Mac EditionI remember when the original Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard came out. The keyboard was thin, very attractive and offered excellent typing feel. The problem was that it lacked any Mac specific keys making hard-core Mac fans stay away from the diNovo line.

Logitech announced today that its diNovo Mac edition keyboard is now available to purchase for $99.99. The keyboard has the same thin .87-inch profile the Edge had that made it so comfortable to type on. Logitech also uses its PerfectStroke key system on the Mac edition with longer travel and great typing feel.

3Dconnexion, the Logitech company that makes the SpaceNavigator 3D mouse, announced today that Second Life will be a SpaceNavigator compatible application starting in mid-April. The SpaceNavigator promises more fluid control of an avatar and more.

Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 RevolutionLogitech has revealed at CES a new keyboard-and-mouse combination which features its well regarded MX Revolution cordless laser mouse and a premium keyboard. It’s called the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution and it is set to price at around $170.

The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution features prominently Logitech’s MX Revolution mouse. It sports a special scroll wheel, among other features, which lets users either zip through Web pages and documents or lets them have precision movement through lists and such. It’s joined by a keyboard which has a built-in LCD screen to display information like ime and date, calculator, temperature, Web site favorites, a keystroke counter, e-mail updates and media information, such as band and song titles.

The Logitech diNovo Mini is a mini-keyboard which uses Bluetooth 2.0 technology to communicate with a linked PC. Through the diNovo Mini you can control Web and media functions like you were using a full keyboard. There’s a self described “ClickPad” which can be used either as a touch pad for mouse-like functions or as a directional pad to navigate and make selections. Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Bluetooth keyboard for the Playstation 3Logitech has announced a new wireless keyboard and headset designed for use with the Playstation 3 game console coming to shelves yet this fall. Both PS3 accessories will use Bluetooth technology to connect to the game console.

The new keyboard from Logitech connects to the PS3 wirelessly and runs on two AA batteries promising up to 200 hours of use. The MediaBoard Pro Bluetooth Keyboard comes in a thin, glossy black finish with many features designed specifically for interacting with the PS3. The keyboard has a built-in touchpad on the right, similar to a notebook touchpad with scrolling and left and right button clicks in the place of a mouse. It also has dedicated keys to simulate the controller buttons such as circle, square and triangle, along with shortcut keys for web browsing and movie menus. And of course the full keyboard works well for fast harassing during gaming and eases the setup of profiles and entering URL’s.
