Mouse Pad with Cat Head and USB Heater

Posted in USB by Conner Flynn on March 30th, 2011

Here’s the latest in crazy cat gadgets and I’m not talking Hello Kitty. It’s a mouse pad shaped like a cat head with a USB heater inside. You know, in case your hand gets cold and you would like to stick it in a cat’s mouth. Weird.

The cat pad is 234 mm x 260 mm x 110 mm (9.21 in x 10.24 in x 4.33 in) and weighs 95 g (3.35 oz). No word on price but I can think of much better uses for your money. What if your poor cat sees this. He will think that he’s gonna get a fist in his mouth too. It’s just not right.

Posted in USB Flash Drives by Conner Flynn on October 4th, 2009

Hello Kitty Mimobots are an army of darkness headed for USB portsThese Hello Kitty Mimobots look absolutely terrifying when there are several together. They travel in packs you see, seeking out your USB port so that they can feed on your files like cute feline vampires in overalls. They are evil and I’m scared. These are in celebration of Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary.

Sanrio and mimoco got together one stormy night and brainstormed over what kind of creepy thing they could do next. This is their Frankenstein creation. A 2 GB flash drive sells for $25, while the 4 GB version sells for $35 and there’s an 8 GB version that sells for $50.

Sanrio Hello Kitty digital frameWe’ve seen several interesting digital frames lately, like Viewsonic’s new line for instance. But none as pink and girlly as this Hello Kitty digital frame. Perfect to display those pics of Hello Kitty herself punching young girls, like above.

Sanrio has introduced two new 7” (480×342) picture frames with 6MB of internal memory. The frames also support MP3 and WMA files as well as JPEG and MPEG 1/2 videos. Other accessories with the digi-frame include SD/SDHC, MMC, memory stick and CF reader. The files can be directly accessed via USB from the frame itself.

USB Hello Kitty mouse done in Swarovski crystals

Posted in Hello Kitty by Conner Flynn on May 10th, 2009

USB Hello Kitty mouse done in Swarovski crystalsNothing says tacky like an object decked out in Swarovski crystals. It’s double the ewww factor when that object is a mouse made to resemble Hello Kitty. It is so girlly and shiny that it blinds any male who looks in it’s direction.

It’s says that it’s compatible with windows, but you’ll obviously need a gargantuan hand to use this thing. This fugly light catcher can be yours for only 160.00. It’s not an official Hello Kitty product. Just officially yuck.

Hello Kitty strikes again with HK Flip Mino

Posted in Camcorders by Conner Flynn on December 15th, 2008

Hello Kitty strikes again with HK Flip MinoHas anyone cross-referenced the prophecies of Nostradamus with Hello Kitty? Because I’m pretty sure she’s the Anti-Christ. Anyhow, the kitty is back thanks to Pure Digital Technologies’ Flip Video lineup getting all Hello Kitty-fied with the Mino and MinoHD. Like their un-kitti-fied cousins, the camcorders sport one-touch video recording, a built-in USB port, and can record 60 minutes of video with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Most importantly for those willing to worship at the kitty altar, the camcorders come in eleven different Hello Kitty designs. Apparently, the price will be $179.99 for Mino and $229.99 for MinoHD, which is the same price as without the kitty graphics.

Cat’s Paw USB flash drive

Posted in USB by Conner Flynn on September 11th, 2008

Cat’s Paw USB flash driveOn the sickeningly cute side of USB flash drives come these Cat’s Paw drives. The Cat’s Paw USB flash drive comes in just one memory size, 2GB, but on the other paw hand you can choose from blue, black and white colors.

The price is a steep $61.38, but maybe it could be your new lucky charm. Sort of a modern day rabbit’s foot that holds data and occasionally grants wishes. It should be noted that if you have actual cats, they’re going to wonder who lost a paw and if they are next. I like to think that the white/pink one is a limited edition of four that they acquired after holding Hello Kitty down in a butcher’s shop, but that’s just me.

USB Calculator with 4 port USB hub
First off, a USB calculator is pretty useless. I mean wth, are you too lazy to use the calculator app? Maybe it’s for our parents and grandparents who may not be able to find it. Plus, everything has a calculator built in these days.

At any rate, stupid as it is, this one can be forgiven, because it also works as a 4 port USB hub. It’s available in hot pink(For those who want the color without the Kitty), white, or black. For $16.00 the USB Calculator Hub is an affordable gift for those who may not be able to find calculator app on their own.

Hello Kitty phone includes Speakers System
For those of you who love Hello Kitty, check out this new pink Hello Kitty themed mobile phone which includes a Hello Kitty-themed speaker system. It runs on GSM 900/1800 networks and comes with a 2.2-inch 260k color screen with 176 x 220 pixels, 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD expansion slot (512MB), integrated MP3 player, 16-LED flash sidebar, USB connectivity and preloaded with games that will brainwash you into thinking “pink” and buying more stuff with a kitty on it.

The phone even has a shake control feature for the music player where you can shake it for the next track. No word on pricing and availability. Yeah, I know, another damn Hello Kitty product. What are ya gonna do? Resistance is futile at this point. I put a bullet in a Hello Kitty MP3 player once and it just reformed, got up and spawned a new product. I ran for like 2 days and they just kept multiplying. They finally left me alone when I bought my Hello Kitty toaster. They just wanted me to conform. That’s all. It’s cool now.
