Mouse Pad with Cat Head and USB Heater |
Here’s the latest in crazy cat gadgets and I’m not talking Hello Kitty. It’s a mouse pad shaped like a cat head with a USB heater inside. You know, in case your hand gets cold and you would like to stick it in a cat’s mouth. Weird.
The cat pad is 234 mm x 260 mm x 110 mm (9.21 in x 10.24 in x 4.33 in) and weighs 95 g (3.35 oz). No word on price but I can think of much better uses for your money. What if your poor cat sees this. He will think that he’s gonna get a fist in his mouth too. It’s just not right.

Ah, we meet again Kitty. I thought I had seen the last of you with the
These Hello Kitty Mimobots look absolutely terrifying when there are several together. They travel in packs you see, seeking out your USB port so that they can feed on your files like cute feline vampires in overalls. They are evil and I’m scared. These are in celebration of Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary.
We’ve seen several interesting digital frames lately, like
Nothing says tacky like an object decked out in Swarovski crystals. It’s double the ewww factor when that object is a mouse made to resemble Hello Kitty. It is so girlly and shiny that it blinds any male who looks in it’s direction.
Has anyone cross-referenced the prophecies of Nostradamus with Hello Kitty? Because I’m pretty sure she’s the Anti-Christ. Anyhow, the kitty is back thanks to Pure Digital Technologies’ Flip Video lineup getting all Hello Kitty-fied with the Mino and MinoHD. Like their un-kitti-fied cousins, the camcorders sport one-touch video recording, a built-in USB port, and can record 60 minutes of video with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
This is just what you need for Christmas. A cat USB hub. It will charge up your gadgets with precious kitty spinal fluid. And if you don’t want to perform a USB spinal tap, there’s another port in it’s mouth.
Hello Kitty fans can now be spied on by the dreaded pink menace. This USB web camera is no doubt exactly what you’ve been looking for. It will silently watch and make sure that your room is full of other Hello Kitty merchandise, whether you are a 14 year old girl or a 40 something man with issues. It’s compatible with Windows Vista/XP/2000 and features a 640×480 resolution at 15 frames per second.
Here’s a flash drive for those with a love of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. But don’t zoom this one all over your desk or make it jump ramps, because your precious data is inside. This 2GB USB memory stick from Green House is molded to resemble a Formula One race car. A very shiny and tiny race car. The USB connector is in the rear. Like all good things we seem to want, this one is currently only available in Japan at the end of the month, where they love shiny little cars and pink kittys.
On the sickeningly cute side of
The other day we told you about the Evangelion USB Flash Drive. Now Buffalo Japan will release another one. Some of you will no doubt think that it’s the cutest USB thing since Hello Kitty. It’s a REI model, that will give you up to 4GB of memory. If you’re a fan of the Japanese manga series you’ll have to get one quick since it’s limited to 5000 pieces. The price is $54.25 and it will be available on September 30th. It’s much cuter then the first one and has more storage.
