XtremeMac launches Tango TRX dock for iPod and iPad

XtremeMac has all manner of accessories and cases for Apple gear like the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. Over the last few months, the company has been rolling out a lot of new audio docks that have some interesting features. The latest new dock from XtremeMac is the Tango TRX and the Tango TRX D.

Both of the versions have the same basic features. The both have a dock built into the main section of the device that charges while music plays. Both have Bluetooth and use 2.1 speakers inside. The speakers include a pair of tweeter, a pair of mid-range drivers, and a single downward firing subwoofer.

This creepy looking doll is born out of a partnership between Griffin and ScrollMotion, makers of the Iceberg Reader, and a leading developer of original apps for the iPhone. The result of the partnership, called Griffin + Iceberg Kids, is Woogie.

Woogie is a hybrid of a stuffed animal with six legs and a protective case for the iPhone and iPod touch. Woogie is designed to go wherever your kids are, home, the car, or anywhere else your kid needs to be entertained.

Panasonic launches New iPod/iPhone certified headphones

Panasonic has launched its new HJC120 and HSC200 headphones. Both are certified for Apple’s iPod and iPhone and both models offer a built-in microphone and remote. They can also access the VoiceOver function of the iPod shuffle, which is nice.

The remote control is water resistant for extra protection. The HJC120 is a canal type of headphone with an ergonomic design and a 90mm OctaRib speaker, while the HSC200 has a water resistant speaker housing with 12.4mm speakers for more dynamic sound.

Creative launches T12 Wireless Speaker System in Singapore

Creative has been unveiling several new wireless speakers systems over the last week or so. The latest offering from Creative will land this month in Singapore and should make its way stateside eventually. The speaker system is called the Creative T12 Wireless Speaker System.

The new speaker system is a 2.0 system and is compatible with all Bluetooth devices including the iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. The system can also pair to other iPods with an optional transmitter or to notebooks with another optional transmitter.

Jensen JiPS-250i iPad dock with video out, speakers

Jensen has a new dock for your iPad, the JiPS-250i. It works with iPads, iPods and iPhones, but the rotating dock is designed specifically for the iPad, allowing users to adjust the display for portrait or landscape viewing. Built-in speakers amplify sound, while a video line-out let’s you attach a separate display.

There’s also a free companion app that features an alarm clock, voice recording, calendar, equalizer, music player, photo album, and social networking integration. A remote control is included.

Griffin PartyDock unveiled by FCC

There are tons of docks on the market for the iPhone and iPod touch. The docks are typically only used for charging and playing music and other content through external speakers and screens. A new dock has been revealed by the FCC from Griffin.

The new dock is called the PartyDock and it is design to enable multiplayer gaming in the iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. The dock has four wireless controllers that will function with the three included PartyDock games. Those games include Midway Motors, Fishing Frenzy and Flippin’ Frogs.

Pioneer KODO XW-NAW1 wall-mounted iPod dock

iPod docks that you can mount on your wall are not new, but they are rarer than your typical dock. Pioneer is offering the KODO XW-NAW1 for £199 (that’s about $300). The KODO XW-NAW1 is slim enough for the job at 83mm and can be placed on your desk with a matching stand.

It’s compatible with iPhones and iPods and the 30W stereo speaker has touch sensor controls and can output video with the component video port.

Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i iPod dock debuts

Logitech has added a new mobile speaker dock to its line up for the iPod called the Rechargeable Speaker S715i. The device is designed to work with any dockable iPod and will sell for $149.99 when it ships.

Logitech is mum on the ship date right now, but it should be soon. The battery inside the S715i is good for eight hours per charge. It has a pair of 3-inch drivers along with a pair of 0.5-inch tweeters and four 2-inch radiators for bass.

Snowflake iPod dock arrives early

Designer Sylvain Gerber must have winter on his mind. And he, like us, is sick of all docks looking the same. So he came up with this neat Snowflake Dock. It boasts lights that change according to the current music track that is playing.

It’s a concept right now, but some manufacturer will surely make it. How can they resist? Not only is it a snowflake, but it changes colors. It’s perfect for a Christmas tree topper. What do you think?

Burger King in Japan offers Personal Music Showers

Don’t like the music at Burger King? Folks in Tokyo Japan can now enjoy their own personal choice of music at outlets with “musical showers”, which basically is a hanging speaker above your table that will play your preferred music which will be more or less confined to your table.

The music comes from an iPod/iPhone dock installed on the wall, where you can dock your device and send the music directly to the speaker above your head.

iWave’s new Disk Speaker is pretty colorful for a small speaker. It sports a round design and is a perfect fit the iPod Nano 4G and 3G. Best of all it’s portable.

The speakers are available with colorful designs printed on the speaker. Nothing on price yet though. One thing is for sure, you can’t say that the designs are boring. Looks like there’s something for everyone.
