Here’s a pretty decent looking and unique alarm clock setup for your iPhone or iPod touch. It was designed specifically for both devices, taking advantage of their screen. This way you have your device and a slick looking clock both on display. Just like all the other docks, the iH41 will charge the player and throw out the audio.

The interesting feature here is that when you turn it on its side to view your device horizontally, the clock on the dock rotates so you can still read the time. The dock has an auxiliary jack that should be compatible with just about any MP3 player if you haven’t jumped on the iWagon yet. It will cost you $79.99 and it ships in July.

If you have dropped big bucks on your big screen 1080p HDTV and Blu-ray player but are still rocking with the plain vanilla 5.1 surround sound you are missing half the coolness of many Blu-ray movies—the HD sound. Sure Dolby Digital 5.1 sounds pretty good, but wouldn’t you rather get the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio goodness form your Blu-ray titles?

To do that odds are you are going to need a new AV receiver and Harman Kardon announced a nice one recently called the AVR 354. The 354 features decoding for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master audio and an on screen graphical menu and a new iPod dock called The Bridge II. The iPod dock allows docking of the iPhone and most other iPods and shows the iPod video, images and menu screens on your TV.

The Souped Up John is the ultimate in geek bathroom luxury. The designer certainly wasn’t constipated when it came to throwing ideas into this john, but was certainly counting on your constipation to keep you in place long enough to use all of the various gadgetry.

It sports a television, TiVo, DVD, XBox, laptop, fridge and of course the toilet paper holder comes standard. Plus an iPod docking station. You also get some exercise pedals in front for when you really need to shake those bowels loose. The megaphone is there so others can cater to any needs not already provided for.

LG put out more detailed information today on some new home theater systems first shown off at CES earlier this year. These include, besides the LHT888, the new LHT874, LHT854, LFD850 and LFA840.

These systems are in the processing of appearing at retail locations such as Best Buy and Circuit City. LG describes them as featuring “distinctive designs” and “advanced technology. We detail the other items in this new line up after the jump.

It’s that time of year when you are going to want to be in the pool and you’re going to want some tunes too. There’s no need to mount your iPod on an oversized raft, when a smaller more Roomba looking thing like this will do. And even though it’s easy enough to have a radio nearby, it’s always much cooler to have your music floating around with you.

You won’t have to worry about your precious iPod drowning since this floating speaker is capable of wirelessly connecting to and streaming from your iPod dock. It will cost you $129.95 to have this bit of floating debri nearby.

Creative has launched a new addition to it’s line of portable speakers with the TravelSound for the iPod nano. This one-piece speaker attaches to the docking port of Apple’s nano and pumps out the sound to share with others. This new TravelSound speaker appears very similar to the TravelSound i50 that we saw last fall for the iPod nano, and the design is no doubt inspired by it.

The new TravelSound portable speaker is relatively small and lets the 3rd generation nano fit right into the design giving it an overall thickness of less than an inch with 3.9 inches in total height. It also comes with a little plastic stand, and if you can keep from losing it since it’s not attached, will provide a safer rest for the speaker with your iPod in it.

We’ve seen a number of waterproof solutions that allow you to take your iPod safely on the beach or in the shower but the Icebar V2 combination case may be the best one we’ve seen yet (and the most expensive). The case provides a waterproof housing for you iPod nano and built-in waterproof speakers for places where it’s inconvenient to use headphones.

The case does have a port for headphones if you’d rather keep your tunes personal, and also has a click-wheel membrane to give complete control of the iPod through the case. The body is made of a shatter-proof polycarbonate which allows you to easily see the iPod display, but just be case the case is shatterproof doesn’t mean the iPod you put inside is.

Look at those silly iPod lamps all gathered together and having a great old time. All colorful and retro looking. They think they’re pretty special. I don’t have the heart to tell them that they offer nothing new. I mean, that would just be cruel. But, the thing is, they aren’t all that special. Sure, they’re retro looking, but get this. I’ve been listening to music with a lamp on at the same time for practically my whole life.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the colors, but I like you, already own a lamp. On the other hand, if lighting is something new for you and you want an iPod dock to go along with your foray into electricity, it retails for $150 and comes in white, pink, black and brown colors.

Pump up the volume during your next pool party, with this floating system. The waterproof Radioraft will have your tunes pumping and jumping a full 360 degrees with five speakers and a built-in ipod dock.

It’s a completely submersible radioraft, with 400 watts of power, that will give you 8 continuous hours of play time, with 6 stainless steel cupholders, a watertight glove box to protect your iPod with controls on the top. So, yeah, they basically took a bouy and put in some cup-holders and speakers. Oh, and an iPod dock. All for the outrageous price of $2000. Your pool party guests had better be paying at the door.

Pansonic has itself its first new home theater in a box (HTiB) system with an integrated Blu-Ray Disc player set to go on sale. It is called the SC-BT100 and you’ll find it for around $1,000.

The Panasonic SC-BT100 includes speakers and a subwoofer for a 5.1 channel experience. It can be upgraded to wireless full 7.1 channel sound with the optional purchase of two side speakers and a transceiver. The included Blu-ray Disc player has “the Final Standard Profile for advanced functions such as Bonus View and audio mixing, which allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows.”

Kensington unveiled a couple of new battery pack/charger combos on Monday for use with Apple’s iPhone and iPods. They didn’t waste any time thinking up snappy names in this case however as the two new products simply go by “Battery Pack and Charger” and “Mini Battery Pack and Charger”. Both work with the iPhone and any current iPod models (except the 3rd generation iPod).

The larger of the two retails for $69.99 and measures not a lot smaller than the iPhone itself at 4.0″L X 0.37″H X 2.2″W, but promises to extend the life of the iPhone for up to 6 hours of talk time, 100 hours of music or 21 hours of video. It charges through a USB connection and can connect to the iPhone or an iPod through the dock port, powering and charging it simultaneously. It also sports a cool looking little LED battery meter.

This boombox is an awesome mix of music and sculpture built into the body of a double bass by artist David Ellis. He incorporated a four-way stereo speaker system, two vaccum tube preamps, a Crown power amp, and a Behringer equalizer.

In case you’re wondering, there is no iPod dock, but it does come with one of the Apple players to provide a music source. You’ll have a hard time getting your hands on one, it’s limited to a run of only three systems. Which is just as well, since many of us don’t have a spare $15,000.

We told you about the R2-D2 projector awhile back, but we had no idea that watching this droid in action was like watching robot porn. Check out the video here. I can not emphasize enough how awesome it is. It will make you wet your Wookie suit and sit in it for an hour!

This is a motorized, fully-articulated R2-D2 projector with built-in DVD, iPod dock, all kinds of digital media inputs, and Millennium Falcon remote control. It still costs $2,995, so you better scare up some funds if you want one and YOU DO want one.

One thing is for sure, this is not your father’s boombox. It’s not a hulking chrome monstrosity with tons of buttons and levers, with a speaker on each side. If you’ve been waiting to buy an iPod sound system with some extravagance, you will likely love Goodmans’ latest.

Aside from the usual pair of speakers, it boasts a 3-in-1 multicard reader, LED accents, iPod dock and a bundled remote. The unit also includes an integrated 7-inch LCD display for showing off stored clips, photos, and the like. No word on exact resolution, so it’s probably not that great. Still, might be worth looking into for $178.

Onkyo wants you to feel the home theater in a box (HTiB) love as it unleashed today three new entry level systems which only require a HDTV to get them going. The Onkyo HT-S5100, HT-S4100 and HT-S3100 will be available in April with suggested retail prices of around $580, $480 and $380, respectively.

Key highlights of these systems include a HDTV-capable audio-video receiver, five or seven surround-sound loudspeakers, powerful subwoofer and an included iPod docking station. These of course vary depending upon the specific system. For more details, read the full release after the jump.
