JVC is now shipping the UX-VJ3B speaker system. It not only looks awesome, but the UX-VJ3B has dual-dock support for the iPad and iPhone at the same time. It’s also affordable at $199.99 and will mount your iPad and iPhone side by side.

Features include a horizontal iPad dock, a rotatable dock for the iPod and iPhone, detachable speakers, auxiliary audio input, mini-USB input, a subwoofer output, a video output, and AM/FM tuner. There’s also an alarm clock, a sleep timer, and a remote.

Sony has a new audio system: the Sony CMT-CX5. It’s a wall mounted system that includes an iPhone, iPod dock, CD player and DAB/DAB+/FM radio. Its also has USB connectivity so that you can attach and play audio from an external hard drive, or flash drive.

The CMT-CX5 uses Sony’s Dynamic Sound Generator Xtra (DSGX) technology and will be available in either black or white. It launches next month. Sadly we don’t have any info regarding pricing and availability yet.

The Omnio WOWKeys keyboard will bring full-sized QWERTY functionality to your iPhone or iPod Touch and now it’s shipping. This keyboard will charge and sync with iTunes, type text directly into your handheld, or use the keyboard’s twelve hotkeys to control music playback functions, turn off the display, or switch between your PC and iPhone.

You can even use your iPhone’s touchscreen as a trackpad for your Mac or PC, through an app. It will cost you around $100.

This is far from the first optical add-on for the iPhone, but the OWLE Bubo focuses on giving the smartphone’s video capture abilities a boost. The Bubo is a hand-held video rig made from aluminum. JBL has now started shipping their new On Air Wireless Speaker System which is specially designed for iOS devices. This is among the first AirPlay-enabled speakers capable of streaming iTunes 10 music or Internet radio directly from your computer. We also love that it looks like it belongs in a spaceship cockpit.

This speaker system can use your existing Wi-Fi or Ethernet to connect to your PC or Mac iTunes library and makes the link with Apple’s AirPlay technology. It also sports a small LCD screen so you can see the album artwork and song info when an iOS device is not docked.

Online store Hammacher wants to combine your light and audio and so they are offering the Audio Light Bulb which allows you to light up your room and listen to some tunes at the same time. Audio is transmitted wirelessly to the light bulbs through a transmitter plugged into your stereo or computer.

It is said to deliver crisp quality audio thanks to it’s 10-watt speaker, which receives interference-free wireless audio signals from up to 50 feet away from the transmitter, which docks with any iPod/iPhone equipped with a 30-pin connector. The speaker will give you lighting similar to a 60-watt bulb.

We may have more iDocks then there are iThings in existence, but we still need more. JBL is here to fill that need. The company has just unveiled its first iPad speaker dock, the OnBeat. It’s compatible with iPod touches, iPhones and iPads. We aren’t sure about the iPad 2.

It will provide music of course, but it will also stream Netflix and YouTube content directly to your television via a composite video output. The 3.5mm auxiliary jack makes it compatible with other devices as well. It will cost you $149.95 and it ships next month.

Here’s something that we don’t see everyday. This Avi Stylix iPod / iPhone docking station sports a built in 7-inch LCD capable of streaming Netflix. Other features include a Dock Connector port, twin two-watt speakers, USB port, SD card slot and a remote.

It will also stream Netflix, as mentioned, but just be aware that you’ll need an iPhone or iPod touch with a live internet connection. That’s because there is no WiFi module built into the device itself. Still, it’s a neat trick for a dock, especially at just $99.99. Not bad at all.
