Roth Audio ALFiEIt wouldn’t be a day here at Slippery Brick without pointing out some new iPod accessory. Today we’ve set our sights on the Roth Audio ALFiE, a cool looking iPod speaker system priced at around $1,000.

The Roth Audio ALFiE is described as a ready to go entertainment hub by Roth. It’s got an integrated iPod dock, slot fed disc drive which playbacks DVD/CD/VCD/CDR/CDRW, FM/AM radio and an auxiliary port for playback of other audio devices. Speakers output 40 watts of sound and include a downward firing subwoofer.

Cambridge SoundWorks i765Cambridge Soundworks, one of the subsidiary brands of Creative, occasionally puts out products which look impressive. Its latest is the Cambridge SoundWorks i765, an iPod speaker system announced yesterday and priced at around $500.

The Cambridge SoundWorks i765, complete with built-in iPod dock, is compatible with many recent iPod models. Besides both charging and playing audio off of the iPod, this system also has a built-in DVD/CD player and radio for other entertainment options. The LCD display offers iPod song identification, while the included wireless remote controls both iPod navigation and all speaker system functions.

Logitech Pure-Fi DreamLogitech wants to help set the bedroom mood iPod style as it unveiled today a “new category of iPod speakers for the bedroom.” While that bold claim remains to be seen the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream is coming in November for around $250.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream incorporates a number of different technologies into its stylish looks. You get your iPod docking/charging station with manual and remote control of audio features as well as LCD display of what’s currently playing. You get a digital FM/AM radio with presets. There’s also motion sensing for lighting up control buttons as needed and letting one wave a hand for snooze without touching a button.

Macally TuneProThe dawn of a new day brings us yet another iPod speaker system. This time around the folks at Macally, a computer accessory company, are unveiling the TunePro flat panel speaker system for around $130.

The Macally TunePro makes use of NXT flat panel loudspeaker and SRS WOW technologies to create what it says is a full, rich sound with a small footprint for iPod owners. It has a nice looking design which charges an iPod while letting one enjoy it at the same time. Integrated into the TunePro is a digital clock with alarm features.
