New iPod tube amplifer surfaces from Grace Digital

Grace Digital Lars & Ivan Hybrid PA-40TiA company going by the name of Grace Digital recently announced some new iPod accessories being hawked under its Lars & Ivan brand. The one catching our eye the most is the Hybrid PA-40Ti, priced at around $450.

The Grace Digital Lars & Ivan Hybrid PA-40Ti is described by its maker as a “high performance” integrated iPod tube amplifier. It can serve as either a complete iPod speaker system or as standalone speakers attached to another audio system. A built-in iPod dock connects Apple’s player and lets you play music, transfer data, charge the iPod and output video.

GizMac brings to market new iPod nano cases

GizMac AluminateGizMac Accessories, a maker of add ons for iPods and iPhones, recently unveiled some new third generation iPod nano cases. These are called the GizMac Aluminate and GizMac DuraSport. Pricing is set at around $30 for both.

The GizMac Aluminate protects the nano in a mixed shell of aluminum. Built-in screen and click wheel protectors also exist. Accessories which come with the Aluminate include a lanyard and a carabiner clip.

XtremeMac InCharge Home and InCharge Travel chargers for the iPhone and iPodThe MacWorld 2008 week is just about to come to a close but the new product announcements aren’t quite over yet. XtremeMac, maker of Apple product accessories, has launched the InCharge Home and InCharge Travel as the latest addition to the companies lineup of chargers for the iPhone and iPod. The products bear the “Works with iPhone” and “Made for iPod” brands making them Apple approved, which is something we really like to see anytime we connect something between the wall outlet and our multi-hundred dollar gadgets.

The InCharge Home is basically a $30 wall outlet adapter that will charge your iPhone or iPod without the use of a computer and without the risk of burning it up. XtremeMac says that the InCharge Home will bring your iPod or iPhone to a full charge twice as fast as it will through your computer connection.

The DLO iBoom JukeBox is a portable speaker system with an integrated iPod dock. It comes complete with an RF remote control with full display screen which lets you have full iPod browsing and control as well as volume handling for the iBoom.

Pyramat PC Gaming Chair 2.1Pyramat, known for making innovative gaming accessories, brought a well stacked line up of products to CES. This items included a full-on chair, a laptop accessory and a few rockers. All of these products should be available now.

Pyramat was specifically showing off the PC Gaming Chair 2.1 (pictured), Laptop Sound Booster, PM450-WR Sound Rocker and S5000 Sound Rocker. Prices on these items range from around $90 to $250.

Tekkeon TekCharge mobile power deviceCali-based Tekkeon is a maker of an array of stylish looking mobile accessories and has just announced a new device to power your mobile gadgets which runs off of your own AA batteries. The TekCharge MP1550 is a mobile power accessory that is juiced up by either two or four AA batteries (rechargeable or not) and can extend the life of your mobile phone, PDA or media player by connecting via USB.

Tekkeon estimates the little device can add as much as 16 hours of phone conversations, 5 hours of PDA use or 20 more hours of watching iPod videos. It also comes with 7 different adapter tips letting you use this same device for multiple gadgets. Once the AA batteries run dry you have the option of simply picking up some more or buying rechargeable AA’s. When the TekCharge is plugged into your computer it will actually charge up the rechargeable AA’s. The device is available now, retailing for around $25.

JVC dual iPod dock, clock radio

JVC NX-PN7 dual ipod dockWith so many iPod accessories on the market today it’s tough to make one stand out from the others, especially with clock radio docks. JVC is making an attempt to stand out this year and unveiling this clock radio at the Consumer Electronics Show which that docks not just one but two iPods, making it twice as good, right?

The JVC NX-PN7 dock features a clock and timer and we’re making an assumption that it has an alarm that will play music from the iPod, but JVC did not mention that specifically. It would also be nice if this clock radio was a dual alarm that would play a different iPod with the different alarm, but unfortunately there was no mention of that either.

The Targus SonicPak is much like your typical gear carrying backpack with its padded compartment for laptop PCs, side mesh water bottle holders, adjustable, padded shoulder straps, molded carrying handle, oversized zipper pulls for easy gripping and a fully equipped interior workstation that includes plenty of pockets for your accessories.

Sexy iLuv i1255 does iPod, DVD playback

iLuv i1255iLuv, a maker of iPod accessories, revealed a number of interesting products as part of its CES 2008 line up. One of those is the new iLuv i1255, a sleek, desktop iPod/DVD player priced at around $130.

The iLuv i1255 lets you play control music from audio CDs, MP3 CDs and docked iPods via an included remote control. Dock adapters let you fit a variety of iPod models and the iLuv i1255 also lets you view iPod video on-screen. There’s also an on-screen display function for navigation of an iPod’s stored video and music files.

iFrogz Wall ChargerIt can never hurt to have extra iPod chargers stashed away at home, the office or in your car for those times when the battery is about done. iFrogz, a maker of iPod accessories, is introducing its own charging products for the Apple portable media player. These are the iFrogz Wall Charger and Car Charger.

The iFrogz Wall Charger, priced at around $15, is a 110v USB product which has a standard two ply plug for fitting into a regular wall outlet. You connect the charger to your iPod through a USB cable. It is available in five color choices.

New Blue Raven speakers do docks or Bluetooth

Blue Raven Maestro 2040iPod accessory maker Blue Raven Technology unveiled today some new iPod speaker systems, some of which use Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming from the MP3 player. The new Blue Raven Maestro 2020 and 2040 models range in price from around $170 to $300.

The Blue Raven Maestro 2020 and 2040 models are two piece speaker systems with 20 and 40 watts of digital audio playback, respectively. They come in several different colors. What distinguishes the products from each other is that two of the four models have built-in iPod docks, while the others make use of an optional Bluetooth transmitter attached to the iPod to receive sound. All models can connect almost any other audio device to the unit with the auxiliary in port.

Roth Audio ALFiEIt wouldn’t be a day here at Slippery Brick without pointing out some new iPod accessory. Today we’ve set our sights on the Roth Audio ALFiE, a cool looking iPod speaker system priced at around $1,000.

The Roth Audio ALFiE is described as a ready to go entertainment hub by Roth. It’s got an integrated iPod dock, slot fed disc drive which playbacks DVD/CD/VCD/CDR/CDRW, FM/AM radio and an auxiliary port for playback of other audio devices. Speakers output 40 watts of sound and include a downward firing subwoofer.

Blue Raven flies in new iPod accessories

blue-raven-transmitter.jpgBlue Raven Technology, a provider of iPod accessories, came out this week with three new add-ons for everybody’s favorite digital audio player. These include a voice recorder (around $40), FM transmitter (around $50) and home theater dock (around $80).

The voice recorder has a built-in mono microphone for use with the iPod’s voice memo function and draws power from the player. It also sports line-in jacks for recording from other devices. The wireless FM transmitter offers playback over a FM radio up to 100 feet away, station presets and an included car charger for keeping your iPod charged while traveling.

Rounding out the new Blue Raven iPod accessories is a home theatre dock. This lets you connect your iPod to a home theatre system so you can enjoy audio and video in larger ways. All of these accessories look to be available now.

iXoundWear preparing iPod nano 3G caps

iXoundWear, having made head wear for previous iPod models, is taking that skill and applying it to hats for holding the new nanos. Caps will be available in Sports and Running versions, distinguishable the company says by the type of fabric used, and will come in a rainbow of colors to match your iPod. Features include a fabric player pocket, control window to access the Click Wheel and a wire management system.
