JVC is now shipping the UX-VJ3B speaker system. It not only looks awesome, but the UX-VJ3B has dual-dock support for the iPad and iPhone at the same time. It’s also affordable at $199.99 and will mount your iPad and iPhone side by side.

Features include a horizontal iPad dock, a rotatable dock for the iPod and iPhone, detachable speakers, auxiliary audio input, mini-USB input, a subwoofer output, a video output, and AM/FM tuner. There’s also an alarm clock, a sleep timer, and a remote.

The iDM71 iPad/iPad 2 Case has a stereo speaker system built into it thanks to flat NXT stereo speakers. The case is made of a faux leather material, and will fold into six positions, so no matter what typing angle you prefer, it’s all good. It can also be used as a movie stand. The iHome iDM71 iPad/iPad 2 Case with Built-in Rechargeable Stereo Speakers will cost $99.99.

iHome is also offering a cool new iPhone dock, the iA17 App-enhanced Color Changing Stereo FM Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone/ iPod. This alarm clock features a “wake-to-color” mode. The translucent cabinet will change color, with five colors available. The alarm clock also has an FM radio, and it is an app enhanced device that works with the iHome+Sleep app, and the iHome+Radio app. The iA17 alarm cloak radio is $99.

If you have an iPad, you need something to dock it in. Acoustic Research has just the thing with the ARS35i iPad docking system, which is also compatible with iPods, iPhones and MP3 players. It has you covered.

This docking station also features a motorized moving arm that holds your iPad and will rotate it into a vertical or a horizontal position. Other features include a video output port and an alarm clock function. It will cost you $129.99.

iLive has given us a sneak peek at their new line of iPhone and iPad docks that they are launching at CES 2011 next week and they look pretty decent. Maybe even sexy. Along with their traditional docking stations iLive will also be showing off its new App Enhanced docks offering features like clocks, multiple alarms, calendars, nature sounds, sleep timers and weather information, all controlled from apps on your iOS device of choice.

The iLive iPad docks offer charging capabilities and can be rotated for viewing in both portrait and landscape mode. The iSD131B is a case, stand, and powered speaker all in one for $49.99. The iSD391B is a powered 2.1 speaker audio system and dock for iPad/iPhone/iPod touch and is App Enhanced for $99.99

You can choose from a million alarm clock docks, most with the same basic features. Or you can choose one that is more original, like the TimeCommand. This dock will dock and charge your iPod, iPhone, or iPad and has an adjustable connector that will work if you have your gadget in a case or not in a case. A free app can also be downloaded to let you set multiple alarms.

The neatest feature is that you can plug in your bedside lamp and the TimeCommand will wake you to your alarm as well as light from the lamp. With the app it can be dimmed and a timer can cut the lamp off when you go to bed.

Let’s face it, you have way too many iPod dock options. But this offering from Yamaha is stylish, powerful and should look good in your bedroom. Plus it will wake you gently. The TSX-140 desktop audio system promises to wake you gradually with the sound of your favorite music. It can fade in the music rather than simply jolting you awake.

It’s compatible with Apple’s iPod Touch and iPhone (3G/3GS/4), and it is also capable of playing MP3 and WMA files stored on a USB stick, as well as FM/AM radio programming.

The iDesign 2-in-1 MicroSystem for iPod and iPhone is a stylish dock for your i-device, featuring a sliding panel to protect it when docked. Interestingly, you can also play music CDs, but not DVDs.

If you want to watch your iPod or iPhone’s video on your TV or computer, just hook it up via a video out jack. The system can be mounted if you like and it also features an FM tuner with 30-station memory and built-in alarm clock.

There are many docks, but not too many iPad-friendly home stereo systems, so iHome has introduced its iA100 Bluetooth Stereo System, which is available for $199.

This docking station/stereo system offers Bongiovi Acoustics’ DPS technology, a built-in alarm clock, Bluetooth, and is compatible with the iPad, iPhone, and iPod via a 30-pin Dock Connector. Xtreme Mac has launched a new pair of audio docks for the iPhone and iPod, The Luna SST alarm clock dock and the 3 in 1 Microdock. The Luna SST alarm clock has dual independent alarms and a detachable speaker. It’s the perfect size for your nightstand and delivers full stereo sound.

The 2 in 1 Microdock lets you charge your iPhone or iPod, and you can also play music though the built in speaker. It comes with a free Alarm clock app which is available for both docks.

Jensen has a new dock for your iPad, the JiPS-250i. It works with iPads, iPods and iPhones, but the rotating dock is designed specifically for the iPad, allowing users to adjust the display for portrait or landscape viewing. Built-in speakers amplify sound, while a video line-out let’s you attach a separate display.

There’s also a free companion app that features an alarm clock, voice recording, calendar, equalizer, music player, photo album, and social networking integration. A remote control is included.

Check out these funky looking clock radios from Logic3. The i-Station TimeCube clock radio is compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch and will recharge them when docked. You have your choice of three different alarm functions: A buzzer, an FM radio with six programmable preset stations, or songs played from your iPhone/iPod.

The i-Station TimeCube clock radio also sports snooze and sleep functions, a built-in LED clock with adjustable dimmer levels, and a 3.5mm line-in port for connecting other MP3 players.

The OZAKI iMini Cute IP830RAINBOW iPod dock from Japan lives up to it’s name, as it comes in a range of rainbow colors that will appeal to those of you who need more color in your life. Features include an integrated FM radio, a built-in speaker, a 2″ full range driver unit and amp, and an LCD display.

It also doubles as an alarm clock and can connect to other compatible devices via the Line IN port. It will cost you about $75 after conversion and hits Japan May 15th.

iHome has been in the market for accessories like docks for the iPhone and iPod for a long time now. The company has announced that its iP90 alarm clock dock for the devices has been updated for 2010.

The iP90 has a larger display now than previous models and better sound. The treble and bass are adjustable and the device uses Reson8 stereo speaker chambers. Other features include multiple alarms and programmable snooze times.

The Kenwood AS-iP70 digital photo frame looks like a typical photo frame, but it has something extra. An iPod/iPhone dock. Even better, the dock can be put away when not in use. The device supports memory cards and USB flash drives too, and of course displays the pictures on it’s 7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) TFT display.

You also get an AM/FM radio with an alarm function, so it doubles as an alarm clock. The only bad part is that there’s no video playback. Look for the Kenwood AS-iP70 to be released in April, when it will cost you about 25,000 Yen (or $274).

I have used my iPhone as a timer when I was cooking something a bunch of times. I also use the iPhone as my alarm clock and my watch and I bet lots of you do as well. iHome has a new speaker dock that has a clock, kitchen timer and other cool features for the iPhone and iPod.

The device is called the iP39 Kitchen Timer and FM Alarm Clock Radio Speaker System for iPhone/iPod. The thing has one of the longest product names ever. What you get is an upright stainless and black looking speaker dock that fits in with most modern kitchens.
