I really like my iPhone and I have had it since the first generation devices launched. It’s about time for me to upgrade to a new handset and I am just waiting until June to see if any of the rumors about a new iPhone coming are true. Being a married geek one of the caveats of upgrading my gear is that it has to make it through the wife approval o’meter. Scoff all you want single geeks, any married guy will know what I mean. One good way to get the approval on an upgrade for my iPhone is to convince my wife that she should take my current iPhone over her Blackberry, which is honestly nowhere near as good as the iPhone.
We’ve covered our share of iPhone cases. Some are
Designer Philippe Starck and Parrot have teamed up to release a home sound system designed for iPod, iPhone and other digital audio sources. They call it the Zikmu and it features a pair of 2.5-foot black monstrosities that look like trumpet ends.
There is one universal truth when it comes to buying any brand of MP3 player, the stock earphones won’t be very good. The earphones that came with my iPhone were horrible. The sound quality was poor and they had no bass, and they slipped easily out of my ears. One of the best ways to make the music from your MP3 player sound better is by upgrading your earphones to a quality set. Today we are going to look at a high-end set of earphones that will work with any MP3 player out there called the Ultimate Ears 700 Noise Isolating Earphones. Read on for all the details on the Ultimate Ears 700 Noise Isolating Earphones.
Love Apple or hate them, I think we can all admit that the iPhone is one of the classiest looking phones. So why not class it up a bit more and add some sophistication in the form of a handmade wooden case? Etsy seller Substrat has created some really lovely cases. They’re all shaped and sanded to perfection and compliment your iPhone’s design. They will hold it snugly and keep it safe.
One of the worst things about my original iPhone is that the battery just doesn’t last long. If I play games for more than half an hour half the battery life is gone and surfing the net on the device does the same thing. I purchased a Mophie Juice Pack for my original iPhone to solve this problem.
The rumors of Apple releasing an
Not that there’s any chance in hell of getting a new iPhone that looks like an old school gameboy, but I’m hoping I can find me this cool case at least. Who cares if it cuts your screen size?
It doesn’t matter if you are a homeless New Yorker or an uber rich businessperson; most of us have one gadget in common — the cell phone. There are few people today that don’t have a mobile phone, though the type of phones we use varies greatly. Many geeks carry the iPhone and your mom may have the cheap phone that comes free with her plan. The mega rich also have their own type of cell phone.
This is a pretty neat application. It allows iPhone users to plant a virtual tree from their phone while simultaneously activating the planting of a real tree. Originally showcased at TED, the app is now available to the masses on iTunes.
I have been using a Mophie Juice Pack for my original iPhone for a long time now. The device gives me much more call time and lets me play games and music longer before the phone is dead. Using the Juice Pack I get roughly twice the run time on my iPhone.
I haven’t worn a wristwatch in years, my iPhone is my timepiece of choice and many people are the same way. However, the wristwatch in some forms is still very interesting to me and Romain Jermoe has a new, very limited edition watch that is beyond cool.
The smartphone market is booming and complex, feature packed devices like the iPhone and the G1 may catch the eye of fans of technology. However, there is a large portion of the handset market that cares nothing for all the geeky features and complexity of the average smartphone.
Whenever there is controversy regarding an iPhone app, it’s usually Apple who has the problem. In this case it’s Vegas who has a bone to pick with an iPhone app. Nevada gaming officials aren’t happy about a card counting app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Obviously it gives Blackjack players quite an advantage.
