It’s summertime and so OtterBox has just announced a new addition to its Commuter Series cases for the Apple iPhone 4. The cases now come in some new colors, not just the regular black and yellow. Now you can get them in black and blue as well.

The OtterBox is made using multiple layers to keep your gadget safe and secure, has a screen protector that protects your display, a silicone jacket to absorb shock, and a polycarbonate shell. The summer style Commuter Series cases for the iPhone 4 are $34.95.

It’s a bit early for Halloween, but these cases are perfect for the occasion. Case-Mate has a new collection of six ghoulish iPhone 4 cases. The new Creatures collection includes three monsters that are perfect for Halloween and three animals.

There’s Tut – a mummy, Monsta – a monster, Frank –Frankenstein, Waddler – a penguin, Gil – a fish, and Hoot – an owl. Each has a unique texture and color scheme and some have a key-chain for the tail. They are $24.99 each.

If you’re in the market for a new iPhone 4 case, you might want to check out the fireTI iPhone 4 case. It certainly looks stylish and it is made from 6AL-4V aerospace grade titanium as well. It also features a set of titanium pins that are designed to hold the case together once on your iPhone.

Seems too good to be true, but a new adapter now allows you to use any DSLR lens from either Nikon or Canon with your iPhone. Any DSLR lens can be attached to your iPhone: Telephoto, wide angle, macro, etc which allows for custom control over the depth of field and manual focus.

It comes with two loopholes on each end of the case to tie on a camera strap. Pretty neat even if it looks weird using this. It’s just $190 for either the Nikon or Canon version.

BlueAnt usually offers voice-controlled earpieces, but now they are getting ready to ship a wired headset called the Embrace. These on-ear headphones look pretty comfortable with their leather pads, integrated mic, and iPhone-compatible controls that will allow you to make calls and play, pause, and skip audio tracks.

The Embrace has a 69-inch cable, and comes a 3.5mm-to-6.3mm adapter and case. They should ship in a few weeks and will cost you $199.

Soon AT&T will offer insurance for your iPhone. They will start covering the iPhone on July 17, the company’s existing mobile insurance policy will offer coverage against loss, theft, accidental physical or liquid damage, and mechanical and/or electrical failure after Apple’s warranty expires.

The plan already covers other phones and mobile devices. Insuring an iPhone will cost $4.99 a month for each mobile number and a $50 or $125 deductible will be applied for each claim, depending on the model of iPhone. AT&T will replace the phone within the next business day in most cases with either a new or remanufactured phone but is limiting the number of claims to two within 12 months.

Hello Kitty items are like Michael Jackson albums. Insanely popular, but nobody admits to buying this stuff. Japan Trend Shop has some new Hello Kitty iPhone 4 cases which are officially licensed from Sanrio. These cases are available in four styles.

You can get Bad Dots, Candy Pop, All Gray and Crazy Color. They cost $98 each, which is insane, but it’s not like you will admit to the purchase anyway. Just go ahead and buy a few. No one will know.

Did you know that there are 53 “official” Jelly Belly flavors? I did not know that until now myself. If you are a fan of the candy, the company’s new cases are scented to smell like the stuff. It will add a candy scent to your iPhone, iPod touch, nano, or BlackBerry.

The cases cost just $15 just like the new Jelly Belly headphones. So who loves the candy enough to try these?

This iPhone 4 case is one of the neatest Gameboy cases for the phone that we’ve seen yet. The Game Boy iPhone 4 case comes in several colors including yellow, orange, white, black, red and blue. This case hasn’t been officially licensed by Nintendo of course.

They are available for $8.90 each. Better grab one before Nintendo puts it’s foot down over this one. It’s one of the most realistic cases we’ve seen.

The case is made of a faux leather material, and will fold into six positions, so no matter what typing angle you prefer, it’s all good. It can also be used as a movie stand. iHome is also offering a cool new iPhone dock, the iA17 App-enhanced Color Changing Stereo FM Alarm Clock Radio for iPhone/ iPod. This alarm clock features a “wake-to-color” mode. The translucent cabinet will change color, with five colors available. The alarm clock also has an FM radio, and it is an app enhanced device that works with the iHome+Sleep app, and the iHome+Radio app. The iA17 alarm cloak radio is $99.

Mophie has just outed the Juice Pack Plus external battery case for the iPhone 4. The 2,000mAh battery more than doubles the iPhone 4′s life and is the largest-capacity and the first to work with both GSM and CDMA iPhone 4s. It’s made of durable rubber and don’t worry about it bulking up your iPhone too much, it adds just 1mm to the thickness of Mophie’s Juice Pack Air case.

To celebrate the launch, a special edition of the case in purple is being released. Only 3,000 will be made. Other colors available include all black or black with cyan, magenta or yellow banding.

Some people love their iPhone 4, but miss the feel of a real keyboard. If you are one of these people, check out Nuu’s new MiniKey Keyboard case for the iPhone 4. The iPad 2 case is $140 and ships on May 28. The iPhone 4 case comes in two styles. The 180 iPhone 4 case for $45, which ships June 1st and the 360 iPhone 4 case for $75 which ships on May 28.

The white iPhone is always making drama. We have followed it’s twisted and sorted saga for awhile now and we thought it would stop now that the device is available. But no. The latest drama surrounding the white iPhone 4 is in regards to it’s thickness.

Consumer Reports is now disputing claims that the white iPhone 4 is thicker than its black counterpart. Using calipers, they claimed both color iPhones were about 0.37 inches. It went so far as to try three cases and said that all three fit just fine.

The latest in the ongoing saga of the white iPhone 4 is that it is thicker than the black model. The image above demonstrates the point. That’s just the latest problem in addition to shipping ten months late. But the size issue may create a problem for owners as well as case makers.

For instance, the Incase slider which fits a black iPhone 4 has to be forced into place on this model. So will your case fit or won’t it? We can only guess that it is thicker do to added UV protection among other things tweaked. Good luck with your current case and we hope it fits.
