Two big shots with initials, HP and AT&T just announced the iPaq Glisten. It’s a GSM Windows Mobile 6.5 Smartphone with an AMOLED display. The Glisten features a unified inbox and comes pre-loaded with the Facebook app for Windows Mobile.
It will cost $299 with a two year contract. Specs include: GSM 3G world phone, 2.5″ AMOLED Display, Windows Mobile 6.5, 3.1 Megapixel Camera, GPS, turn-by-turn navigation and Mobile office.




AT&T will be launching another smartphone from Hewlett-Packard. The iPAQ K3. The codename is “Obsidian”, the date is November 30. This new smartphone works on triband HSDPA as well as quadband EDGE.
HP has two new smartphones in their iPAQ range: the iPAQ DataMessenger and VoiceMessenger. The first handset runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch display, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, Wi-Fi and HSDPA support, quad-band GSM, aGPS, a 3.1MP camera and microSD memory card slot. While the iPAQ VoiceMessenger has a smaller 2.4 inch display and a SureType keyboard. The VoiceMessenger and DataMessenger will cost you €399 and €499. Both will be released in November via Vodafone.
