One of the most often replaced items in our gadget collection is earbuds. You use a pair for a while and they bite the dust. So when it came time for another pair, I recently gave ifrogz Ear Pollution Plugz earbuds with microphone a try. The onslaught of iPhone 3G cases continues with several recently announced offerings from iPod accessories maker iFrogz. These new cases are the Wrapz, Treadz and Luxe. The first two price around $15, while the Luxe is around $20.

All three cases are available now in a variety of colors. iFrogz says the basic design of the Wrapz case offers 100 percent silicone encasement, while the Treadz case offers an “extra-thick” silicone casing and a tire tread design. The Luxe case, meanwhile, provides protection with a hard, plastic shell, finished with a metallic facade and a “soft …

iFrogz announced the release of Thumpz, today at CES 2008 in Las Vegas. Thumpz is currently designed for the 3rd generation iPod nano and will also be available for the iPod Classic and incorporated into the Tadpole case. It’s a 100% silicone case with speaker that gives you a compact, more stylish way to listen to music.

The new Thumpz uses a passive speaker technology that offers great sound without the added bulk of batteries. Just slide the iPod into speaker case and connect through the headphone jack. It only extends the length of the iPod about an inch. It claims to give you full protection and you can still share your music and videos without the need to remove the case or plug it into other speakers.

iFrogz is targeting owners of the third generation iPod nano with a semi-translucent hard case. The new iFrogz 3rd Gen Nano Crystal Cases are priced at around $13 or $18 if you add some click wheel art.

The iFrogz 3rd Gen Nano Crystal Cases are available in a variety of colors, including pink, purple, orange, green, yellow and light blue. They protect your nano from scratches by covering it while also offering full access to the scroll wheel, headphone jack and other ports. The screen is also fully covered by the case.

It can never hurt to have extra iPod chargers stashed away at home, the office or in your car for those times when the battery is about done. iFrogz, a maker of iPod accessories, is introducing its own charging products for the Apple portable media player. These are the iFrogz Wall Charger and Car Charger.

The iFrogz Wall Charger, priced at around $15, is a 110v USB product which has a standard two ply plug for fitting into a regular wall outlet. You connect the charger to your iPod through a USB cable. It is available in five color choices.

iPod case maker iFrogz recently unveiled a new, very portable mini-speaker system which an expandable middle chamber. The new Thumpz is priced at around $25.

The iFrogz Thumpz offers up what its maker calls a typical small speaker sound when the speaker is closed. When the middle section is expanded however one gets increased bass sound, filling a room with “a deep rich sound.” It comes with a rechargeable battery and USB cable.
