iPod Touch Nano with removable game controller |
This is what an iPod Touch Nano might look like should Apple release one. It’s designed by Isamu Sanada and the iPod Touch Nano features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual dock connectors, and would come in a variety of colorful cases. Probably the coolest thing about the design is the removable game controller for when the accelerometer and touchscreen aren’t enough. Maybe it’s just me, but this is probably the one feature that the iPod Touch could use in the real world. Pretty sweet design.

Microsoft will announce price cuts across the board for its flash Zunes tomorrow. Good news if you are bargain shopping. hey aren’t Earth shattering deals, but every bit helps right? I’ve been thinking on it for awhile and I just can’t think of anything more disturbing then this Spongebob Squarepants iPod dock. Mostly the problem is that you remove his large eyeballs and watch them roll around on the table in time with whatever music you play. It’s made more disturbing by the fact that he doesn’t even have a face, just the fleshy part around the eyes. That’s all you get. Don’t buy your kids this monstrosity, unless you like your kid waking up from mutant cartoon nightmares every night, complete with music. Video below.

Want to turn your iPod into a TV? How about one of those old TV/VCR combos? I can think of a better choice of TV, but at least this will increase your screen size and give you more volume. This mini TV-set magnifies your iPod’s screen up to 2.8 inches. The iPod Nano 3G TV will be available soon for the retail price of about $23. Your iPod slips into the back as shown. It probably would have been cooler if it slid in the VHS slot.
Chances are your iPhone or iPod touch runs out of juice at inconvenient times. With the RichardSolo 1800 Smart Backup Battery, you can have 50% more battery capacity compared to the company’s earlier iPod and iPhone-ready battery packs. It also has some new features.
Typing on the iPhone’s touchscreen is pretty awkward. It’s really no fun. Your life is about to get easier thanks to the BTKeyMini, a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This small keyboard has a cover that also holds your iPhone. It should fit in even a very small briefcase. It uses a battery of it’s own so it won’t suck off of your iPhone. There’s still the iPhone’s lack of copy and paste, but hey this will still make it easier for you. It almost makes your iPhone into a laptop. No word on when it’s shipping, but it will cost you $92.
