First Sony NEX-7 DSLR image spotted

Looks like the Sony NEX-7 digital SLR rumors are true. It will mimic the look of an older Konica-Minolta Dimage A2. We know this because a new digital image of the upcoming Sony shooter has been leaked. The image is said to be of a pre-production unit, so some changes will likely happen. A rangefinder similar to that of the Fujifilm X100 can be seen on the image as well.

LG EzSign 42-inch Hybrid TV

LG has announced the EzSign TV 42LD452B 42-inch Hybrid TV for the South Korean market. This TV is designed for schools, offices, cafes, restaurants and hospitals, where it will hopefully provide an easy-to-use interface to help you manipulate data.

It can display advertisements, information and broadcast content all on the same screen, which should attract customers and get people’s attention. I got mine already with the imported beer for just $5 up there.

Sharp AQUOS Hybrid 007SH: World’s first Clamshell Android phone

Though it isn’t something I would brag about, Sharp’s latest offering, the AQUOS Hybrid 007SH captures 3D Photos and videos and is the world’s first clamshell phone to run the Android OS. The phone also features a 3.4″ WVGA 3D New Mobile ASV touchscreen.

Other features include a 16.10 megapixel rear camera with a high-definition 720p video recording mode, AQUOS TV connector, WiFi, Bluetooth and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It also has an attractive IPX5/IPX7 waterproof body that keeps it safe in water. The phone’s keypad also has ergonomically placed keys to make typing easier.

Samsung SENS-240 Navigation Tablet

The Samsung SENS-240 hybrid car navigation system / tablet is compatible with your Android-powered Samsung smartphone or tablet. The device uses Bluetooth to take over your voice, data, voice search, and even “video features” from your smartphone when you are behind the wheel.

You can use your smarpthone or tablet as an “advanced” remote when idle. The SENS-240 packs in 256MB of RAM, USB-host mode, and an SD slot in addition to a 1.43GHz processor. For now it’s Korea-only, but who knows where it will show up after a while.

Sony Vaio Slider tablet and ultra-thin notebook teased

At the end of yesterday’s Sony presentation of the S1 and S2 Android tablets, a few slides were displayed showing off a couple more new Sony products, Namely, the “Ultra Mobile” PC and the “Freestyle Hybrid” PC.

The Ultra Mobile PC clearly looks like it is at least a 13-incher or over, while the Freestyle Hybrid PC was rumored as the Sony Vaio Slider, which was said to have a 9.4-inch display, Pine Trail Atom processor and Windows 7 and is due out in the fall, possibly October for $799. Unfortunately, we have no details on these guys yet.

RCA Unveils New Hybrid Mobile TVs

RCA has been making TVs and other electronics for as long as anyone can remember and now they have unveiled a new line of portable mobile TV products. There are four different models. Three of them are portable TVs and one is a TV tuner for your car. All four can receive both Mobile TV format signals and standard digital TV signals.

There’s the 3.5″ DMT335R TV with LED backlighting for $119, which ispowered by AA batteries that are rechargeable and last for four hours. The DMT336R is another 3.5″ priced at $159 and has a widescreen LED backlit screen, FM radio, rechargeable battery, and an AC power option.

Acer Aspire Z5761 all-in-one coming in May

Acer has a sleek new all-in-one called the Aspire Z5761. It features a 23-inch Full HD display, your choice of Sandy Bridge Core i5-2400s, Core i5-2500s, or Core i7-2600s CPUs, up to a 1.5TB SATA II HDD, a Blu-ray or SuperMulti drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT440, GT435M, or GT420 graphics, and a hybrid TV-tuner card.

Other features include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and eight USB 2.0 ports. It also comes preloaded with Clear.fi tech, so you can have access to multimedia content on other Acer devices. Prices start at £799 ($1305), and it arrives in May.

Sony readies MacBook Air rival with Thunderbolt and Chrome OS

The MacBook Air is a real winner thanks to it’s super slim form and great battery life. Sony wants to roll out their own version with a Vaio notebook known as the Hybrid PC. It’s a fast ultralight machine with a Core i7 processor, a Solid State Drive, HDMI 1.4 connectivity and Wi-Di.

The whole package is less than 2.5 pounds. When you this machine, the Hybrid PC will is transformed into a full desktop replacement. Other specs include a Radeon HD 6700M graphics processor, a Blu-ray burner, Ethernet and VGA connections, and a connector that brings together USB with AC power. Battery life without the dock has been rated from 8 to 16.5 hours.

Sony Vaio S Notebook runs 15-hours with Optional Battery

Sony has added a new notebook to its vaio lineup today that falls into that portable category. It is called the Vaio S series. The notebook features a magnesium frame and weighs just 3.8 pounds. The profile is just under an inch thick and it has a battery good for 7.5 hours per charge. It is also the first notebook to have a sheet battery that fits on the bottom and promises to double the running time.

The 13.3-inch screen features a resolution of 1366 x 768 and it can be fitted with an Intel Core i7 CPU at 2.7GHz. Storage is up to 750GB and a 250GB SSD is optional. There is also up to 8GB of RAM and a Radeon HD 6630M GPU inside with hybrid graphics. Pricing starts at $969.99.

Zumreed X2 Hybrid Headphones are also Speakers

The X2 Hybrid Headphones look common enough, but look closer. They double as speakers. It allows you to switch back and forth between headphones or external speakers. If your ears get tired, just switch them. The outside of the earcups functions as the external speaker and the interior earcups function as a normal pair of headphones. Pretty neat design.

The drivers are 40mm and as speakers they output 0.5 watts. When used as a speaker they need to be charged and will operate for 4 hours on a 1 hour charge. They also come with a 3.5mm stereo gold plated plug and a 6.3mm stereo plug.

Ricoh unveils CX5 camera with fast autofocus

Ricoh’s new CX5 point and shoot camera sports a 10-megapixel sensor and a 10.7x, 28-300mm zoom lens. It also sports a new, ultra-fast autofocus speed up to just two-tenths of a second with a hybrid autofocus system, which uses a passive distance sensor along with usual contrast AF and can lock on in about half the time of the CX4.

The camera also features a Super-resolution setting and a Super-resolution Zoom that doubles the maximum focal length to the equivalent of 600mm with minimal image degradation. Other features include new scene modes, a 920,000-pixel LCD and the camera can record 720p HD movies.

Samsung 750 and 950 3D LED monitors

Samsung’s new 750 series an 950 series will come in both 23 and 27 inch sizes with 1080p resolution, a two-millisecond response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, D-sub, HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-DualLink connectivity.

You can also get them with a TV tuner and they will handle 3D for gaming, TV, films, and user-generated content. The hybrid 750s and all the 950s can do 2D-to-3D conversion from PCs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and set-top boxes. Sadly we don’t yet have a price, but we do know that the line hits stores in March.
