According to Vodafone’s UK website, HTC’s Android-based Magic will be available on May 5th.
The new phone is the second Android phone to launch in the UK following T-Mobile’s HTC-made G1. It was originally due out on April 17th, but was delayed due to “a last minute hardware change”. If you need a refresher, some features include a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as GPS.

HTC makes some of the coolest smartphones on the market and is the maker behind the T-Mobile G1 running Android. HTC has all sorts of different smartphones with features like touch screens and other niceties.

LEDit is a led screen ticker emulator app available for both the iPhone and iPod Touch. It seems pretty silly at first, but when you think about it, it’s a pretty useful tool to have. Whether you’re in a noisy place like a nightclub or a silent place like library, you can use it to send others a message instead of yelling or whispering.

HTC is dropping it’s latest slider smartphone, the S743, which aims for both style and power. On a disappointing note, why have an alphanumeric keypad in front when it features a full QWERTY keyboard when fully opened? The display could have been a full touchscreen.
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day. We’ve seen tons of tons pics of the aftermath of what an LCD TV looks like after it’s had a Wiimote encounter of the nerd kind, but I’m thinking this may be the first actual recorded instance of the phenomenon. It’s captivating.
Smartphones are the top growing mobile phone category. The Apple iPhone may be at the top of the sales charts, but it has many competitors looking to take that top spot away. One of the smartphones that hoped to steal some of the iPhone thunder was the HTC Touch Pro.

Sprint finally released the new HTC Touch Pro smartphone. Those who have been waiting can purchase the handset online in the next few days. It will be available in Sprint stores beginning on November 2nd, 2008 for $299.99. That’s after a $100 mail-in rebate. The HTC Touch Diamond just got a new color, and it will be available in white. That’s right. The most boring device color known to man. The eternal white limbo that the Wii is damned to walk the Earth wearing. The new color will be available on store shelves this October, but other than the color change, everything beneath the hood is the same. Will it remain white or is the quality such that it will turn yellow after a few years? I have no idea, but I’m sure most of you want neither white nor yellow.
