Unofficial Adidas phone

Posted in Mobile Phones by Conner Flynn on December 16th, 2009

Unofficial Adidas phoneLooking for a phone that matches your fancy Adidas shoes? Well, you can get this one, but despite it’s looks, it isn’t an official handset from the sportswear giant. Sure it has the Adidas logo on the front of this clamshell, but that’s really all we know about it.

You can probably expect the usual specifications of such clones, like dual SIM and a digital camera as well as a complete lack of quality at a high price. We will probably see a Nike version very soon.

Kindle Kradle holds your Kindle, brings the ugly

Posted in kindle by Conner Flynn on December 1st, 2009

Kindle Kradle holds your Kindle, brings the ugly The Kindle Kradle is a pretty ugly way to hold your Kindle. It looks like those take-out beverage holders, but for a Kindle. It allows you to not have to actually hold your Kindle, so it’s at least functional. Right? Well, maybe not.

The folks at over at Wired had a hands on and the Kradle turned out to be less useful than it seems. And using it as a dock is a pain since it’s not easy to thread the cable through the stand. It comes in brown or graphite colors though, and in sizes that fit the Kindle DX and some Sony Readers too.

Sexy Witch iPod holderHere’s one for all of you who like to have your little Halloween decorations on display. It’s a sexy witch that will hold your iPod. Wait. What the hell? What exactly is going on here? Is that witch having her way with that iPod?

She’s definitely giving it a tickle with the tip of her broom. I suppose it would be far dirtier if the broomstick was going the opposite way. That iPod is just sitting back and enjoying itself. The earbuds are just watching the whole bizarre thing unfold.

Steampunk Urinal

Sometimes Steampunk goes too far. Cakes, flash drives and clocks are all well and good but with the arrival of a Steampunk urinal, it seems like this genre has officially jumped the shark.

Technically it’s called the TeslaPunk Urinal. A hand-made solid oak tank with a battery powered flush pump, laser aiming assist, lights, antique gauges, flush capacitor, and cup holder. Yeah, what else can you say about this thing. I think it’s time that we changed the way we use the word Steampunk.

Darth Vader Wii Sensor Bar holderJust when you think that you’ve seen it all with the Wii, some Wii accessories can still surprise you. The $50 Darth Vader Nintendo Wii Sensor Bar Holder is just what it sounds like. It holds your sensor bar and makes it look like a lightsaber. Sorta.

So while you are swinging that Wiimote, you can imagine Vader encouraging you to use the force and join the darkside. You of course will shout NEVERRRRR and all of your friends will get scared and leave. It’s not your fault Vader only speaks to you and that no one else can hear him.

Haunted toilet paper roll

Haunted toilet paper roll plays the sounds of the undeadWe’ve all been in a bathroom where it smells like the undead, but have you ever heard the sounds of the undead coming from your toilet paper roll? This is a toilet paper roll holder that plays such sounds when you pull at the TP.

I suppose it’s a Halloween novelty item and is not intended to help you drop a deuce. Because frankly Zombie sounds don’t help me. Perhaps Zombies are constipated and that’s why they make their sounds. If that’s the case, maybe this is supposed to encourage more roughage.
