Sharp ships four new LE380 Series Aquos Quattron HDTVs

Sharp has unveiled the LE830 series for its Aquos Quattron HDTV lineup which includes models in 60, 53, 46 and 40 inches. All four come equipped with integrated Wi-Fi and have access to CinemaNow, Netflix and Vudu services.

They also sport the company’s proprietary quad-pixel technology which adds yellow pixels for deeper and brighter colors, making the HDTV brighter overall. It’s also DLNA certified so you can stream content from home networks and it has four HDMI ports. These are pretty nice looking since they are mostly screen.

Sony Launches NEX-FS100 Super 35mm Camcorder

Sony has launched a new professional grade camcorder in the NEX-FS100. The NEX-FS100 is equipped with an Exmor Super 35 CMOS Sensor that is designed for shooting commercials and music videos, as well as action scenes. The sensor shoots 1080p60 content at up to 28Mbps to SD, Memory Stick or an optional 128GB SSD. It can also output uncompressed 4:2:2 footage over HDMI and sports a 3.5in LCD display.

The NEX-FS100E uses the Sony E-mount interchangeable lens system and will also allow for the A-Mount lenses to be used with an adapter. This budget model only comes with the camera body though. The lens kit will cost you extra.

Fujitsu reveals Stylistic Q550 tablet prices

Fujitsu has unveiled a price range of £749 up to £849 for the Stylistic Q550, its business tablet. The tablet will arrive next month in two versions, one with a 32GB SSD and the other with a 64GB SSD. The tablet will also pack in an Intel ‘Oak Trail’ Atom processor and up to 2GB of RAM.

There’s also WiFi and Bluetooth, front and rear webcams, USB 2.0, HDMI, and an SD card reader with 3G and GPS as extra options.

Asus Eee PC 1015B and 1215B

Fans of Asus computers will enjoy the company’s latest additions to the Eee PC family. The Eee PC 1015B and 1215B feature 10-inch and 12-inch displays, with prices starting at $289 and $379, respectively. That seems nice and affordable right? We like that.

Some other features include 250GB of storage, 1GB of memory, VGA, USB, and HDMI ports, along with 1080p output. For the price, that’s pretty decent. Who wants one?

Sony readies MacBook Air rival with Thunderbolt and Chrome OS

The MacBook Air is a real winner thanks to it’s super slim form and great battery life. Sony wants to roll out their own version with a Vaio notebook known as the Hybrid PC. It’s a fast ultralight machine with a Core i7 processor, a Solid State Drive, HDMI 1.4 connectivity and Wi-Di.

The whole package is less than 2.5 pounds. When you this machine, the Hybrid PC will is transformed into a full desktop replacement. Other specs include a Radeon HD 6700M graphics processor, a Blu-ray burner, Ethernet and VGA connections, and a connector that brings together USB with AC power. Battery life without the dock has been rated from 8 to 16.5 hours.

LG G-Slate shows off on video

A girl named theofficialLGgirl was recently chosen to shoot an advertisement for LG’s G-Slate tablet on T-Mobile. She was given her own G-Slate after the shoot, and has posted a video showing off her experience with the tablet.

Obviously it’s going to be a bit biased, but it does a nice job of showing off the tablet. And it never hurts to have a cute girl if you are selling something right? The tablet runs Honeycomb (Android 3.0) on a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and can display 3D content on the tablet itself if you have 3D glasses. It can also output to the big screen through an HDMI port.

Philips Harmony 8000 Series Hi-Fi System

Philips has something new for music lovers in the Harmony 8000 series DVD component HiFi system. The system comes with new ClariSound speakers, which deliver the best balance between natural sound, detailed precision and bass tightness.

The Philips Harmony 8000 is constructed using pure aluminum for the casing, real wood for the speaker boxes and glass fiber woofers, giving it a unique design. The system features a 2 x 80W RMS Class-D digital amplifier, a CD player, a DVD player with an HDMI output, 1080p up-scaling and a USB 2.0 port.

ASUS announces three new full HD monitors

ASUS has announced three new Full HD Monitors to their Designo ML series. These models are the 21.5-inch ML229H, 23-inch ML239H and 24-inch ML249H. The LED-backlight monitors deliver 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 250 cd/m2 brightness.

There is a 5ms response time for the ML229H and ML239H, an 8ms response time for the ML249H and 178-degree ultra-wide viewing angles. They come with D-Sub and HDMI connectors. No info on pricing yet however.

Samsung Stealth spotted

The Samsung Stealth(SCH-i520) has been spotted in the wild and it looks like it will be arriving in mid-April. It might even arrive before HTC’s much delayed Thunderbolt, and if it does Samsung will beat HTC and be the first 4G LTE phone on Verizon’s network.

The Samsung Stealth features a 4.3″ Super AMOLED + display, a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, LTE/CDMA radios, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI-out and Android 2.2. Nothing on price yet, but we will know more when it is announced officially.

Elonex 760ET Android Tablet

Another day, another new Android tablet. The latest to enter the market is from Elonex and it’s called the 760ET. Not a very catchy name, but how are the specs? The device features a 7-inch 480 x 800 resistive touchscreen display, and a 1GHz processor.

You also get 4GB of flash storage, a microSD card slot, a webcam, an accelerometer, WiFi, an HDMI port, built-in stereo speakers and Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show. The Elonex 760ET retails for 99 GBP (or about $162).

Olivetti launches OliPad tablet

Olivetti was originally known for typewriters, but with typewriters not exactly flying off the shelves, they’ve turned to manufacturing tablets instead. Olivetti has announced the release of the OliPad, and are calling it Italy’s first tablet.

The OliPad features a 10-inch screen, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity, NVIDIA Tegra 2, Android 2.2.2, and a 1024 x 600 display. There are also USB and HDMI ports and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Launching at the same time is the Application Warehouse, “a virtual storehouse of configurable and customizable software applications designed by Olivetti specifically for business and government.”

Apple launches new iPad dock for the iPad 2

Apple has announced a new line-up of accessories for the second generation iPad, which includes the new HDMI adapter and their new iPad 2 Smart Covers. And there’s also a new dock for the iPad 2, which is designed to work with the new slimmer design on the iPad 2 and it supports other iPad accessories like the iPad Camera Connection kit and the new Apple Digital AV Adapter as well.

As if we didn’t know that there would be new accessories for the latest and greatest Apple products. We are used to the drill by now. Apple haven’t announced pricing yet for the new iPad 2 Dock, but the previous one for the iPad retails for $29.

TazTag to debut Android-powered TazPad Tablet

CeBIT will start soon and we are sure to see many more Android tablets. One such tablet will be from a company called TazTag, who has announced that the TazPad will be seen at CeBIT for the first time. It will run Android, but other than that we don’t have all the details.

We do know that the tablet will have a 7-inch screen with multitouch and it has full HD capability and HDMI output, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC and ZigBee. It will be the first tablet with NFC and Android. The device also features a camera and GPS. No word on pricing, but the TazPad will ship in Q2.

Acer Iconia Tab W500 Tablet available for pre order in Europe

The new Acer Iconia Tab W500 Windows-based tablet is available for pre-order in Europe through several German stores for 499 Euro (or about $686). Seems a bit pricey to me, but then again I’m not a fancy European.

The Iconia Tab W500 features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen display, a 1GHz AMD C-50 APU processor, an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics card, up to 2GB RAM, a 32GB SSD, a 1.3-megapixel camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 3-cell battery and it runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Mitsubishi 92″ 3D Home Cinema TV

Chances are most of us have a home theater TV screen from 32 inches to 50 something. But how about a 92 inch TV? Mitsubishi’s new TV is exactly that size and is the latest addition to its 3D Home Cinema TV line. It uses Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology to bring your home theater to life when you’re watching HD or 3D movies.

It packs in 4 HDMI inputs, multiple speakers and speaker outputs to hook up to your audio system and Bluetooth so you can stream audio to the TV. The Mitsubishi 92″ 3D Home Cinema TV will cost you $6,000 and will be available soon.
