HP x2301 Ultra-thin LCD Monitor

We are used to our monitors being pretty thin these days, but not this thin. HP has introduced an ultra-thin LCD monitor that measures just 9.8mm thick. It weighs 7.7Lbs and the HP x2301 features a 1980×1080 (1080p) resolution with a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 3ms GtG response time, and BrightView technology.

The x2301 is also mercury- and arsenic-free with Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Silver certifications. That means it is also great for the environment. This LCD display can also display 72% of the color gamut. Other features include DVI, HDMI and VGA ports. The HP x2301 is available on June 10, 2011 for $279.99.

Motorola Droid X2 Specs Fully Revealed

We already knew quite a bit about Verizon’s upcoming Motorola Droid X2 and now an official spec sheet has shown up to fill us in on the rest. The X2 is a 4.3-inch, 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2-powered device with qHD resolution and an eight-megapixel camera.

It runs Android 2.2 Froyo but will likely be shipping with 2.3 Gingerbread. Looks like the RAM/ROM configuration will be the same as the original Droid X at 512MB/8GB. The Tegra 2 chipset allows higher-quality video playback (1080p over HDMI) and higher framerates for playback and capture.

ViewSonic ViewPad 7x: First 7-inch Honeycomb tablet

Viewsonic, according to some sources is ready to launch the Viewsonic ViewPad 7x, a new Android tablet that will outdo their current 7-inch model the ViewPad 7, but not replace it. The tablet will run Google’s tablet OS Honeycomb, and be the first of it’s size to do so.

Other features of the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x include an Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, two cameras front and back, HSPA+, DLNA and HDMI support for sharing media with your TV. It should be hitting stores in June.

NEC VersaPro VK15V/TM-C Windows 7 Tablet

NEC is launching a new Windows 7 tablet in Japan. The tablet is powered by a fast 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom Z670 processor and it is called the NEC VersaPro VK15V/TM-C. Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32Bit is running the show.

Other features include 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 64GB Solid State Drive (SSD), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI, an SDHC card slot and a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) display. The NEC VersaPro VK15V/TM-C Windows 7 tablet will be available starting next month. No info on pricing yet though.

Fujitsu’s Stylistic Q550 business tablet available for US pre-orders

Whether this tablet is stylistic or not is debatable, but one thing is for sure, most tablets don’t have Smart Card readers, fingerprint scanners and TPM modules, but the Fujitsu Q550 has one of each. That’s a bonus for sure.

The Oak Trail-powered Windows 7 tablet sporting it’s 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS screen is now ready for US pre-orders. The base model is $729 with a 30GB solid state drive and a two-cell rechargeable battery. For $849 you get 62GB of storage and a four cell swappable Lithium-ion battery. Both have front and rear cameras, HDMI out, a bootable USB 2.0 port, a full-size SD slot and dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi.

Dell XPS 15z Ultra-thin Laptop Spotted in the Wild

A successor to the Dell Adamo ultra-thin laptop has been in the works and it is almost time for its retail debut. The first pictures of the device, supposedly called XPS 15z, have now shown up online. They first appeared on Mobile Review on Thursday.

The images show off the 15.6-inch Dell XPS 15z’s island-style keyboard flanked by speakers, two USB ports, a FireWire port and an HDMI output. All we know about the insides is that it will be powered by second-generation Core i5 and i7 processors. Sources say that it will be under $1000.

Sony NGP with Xbox 360 detailing shows up in China

Check this out. Somebody has a split personality. This knock-off NGP is called the iReadyGo RG. It’s a rip off of Sony’s upcoming handheld with the same 5-inch touchscreen, however it has some identity problems. The detailing is clearly inspired by the Xbox 360.

Other specs are rumored to include a 1GHz Cortex-A8 CPU, 720p camera, HDMI-out, and video playback compatibility for MP4, WMV, AVI, and many more. Apparently it will also have Android too, since iReadyGo is looking for six senior Android developers. No word on pricing or availability yet, but we will just wait for the real deal.

Pioneer Computers DreamBook ePad 10 Plus Android Tablet

Another day, another tablet. This one comes from Pioneer Computers, who has just expanded its line of Android tablets with the DreamBook ePad 10 Plus. As far as Specs, you can expect a 10-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen display, a 1GHz ARM11 processor, and 512MB RAM.

Nokia Launches A New Pink N8 Smartphone

Are you bored with your N8? Need a color boost? Something girlie? Well, this is your lucky day. Nokia has added another color to the Nokia N8. The Nokia N8 Pink. Aside from the feminine color, it has the same specifications as the N8.

The Nokia N8 packs in a 12 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a Xenon flash. It will record HD video in 720p and also has HDMI out. Other features include a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, 16GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot.

The Sony Bloggie 3D camera is now available to purchase online. The device offers 3D video recording and image capturing for those who are budget-minded and don’t want to pay a fortune for 3D. It will shoot 3D videos at 1080p and take 3D stills at 5 megapixels.

Its Exmor- CMOS sensor will deliver great quality images even in low light and you can even take photos while you’re shooting a video. Some features include a 2.4″ glasses-free 3D screen, 8GB of internal storage good for 4 hours of footage and an HDMI output.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet with Honeycomb coming this summer

Lenovo has failed to keep the secret with a PowerPoint that reveals a new ThinkPad tablet for “on-the-go professionals.” And it isn’t a Windows 7 convertible either, but an Android 3.0 tablet with an optional pen and an “keyboard portfolio case.”

The whole thing weighs 1.6 pounds. Other features include an IPS display and a dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It also sports dual cameras, one in front and one in back, 16/32/64GB storage, USB 2.0, Micro USB, a mini HDMI port and an SD card slot. Wi-Fi and 3G models will be available. Sounds like a great tablet.

Acer’s DX241H Web Station

You always have your tablets and phones and laptops to use when you want to surf the web, but sometimes you want a larger viewing space and if you do, then Acer’s DX241H Web Station might be for you. It comes in both wired and wireless models.

It’s basically a 24-inch monitor. One that has a built-in browser, and will connect to the internet without being connected to a PC. But it does more than just surf the web. You can also watch movies on that 1080p display using Acer’s clear.fi software to stream video from other devices on the network. Sounds pretty sweet. Alot of screen real estate in a small space is always good.

Alienware M14x and M18x unveiled

Dell has unveiled its new Alienware M14x and M18x notebooks and an updated M11x notebook as well. The M18x features an 18 inch display and dual GPUs along with a Core i7 Extreme processor, overclocked from to 4GHz and 32GB of 1333MHz memory. We are talking some serious power here.

The M18x and M14x also offer optional wireless HD audio/video for TV streaming, HDMI 1.4 for 3D support and USB 3.0 ports.

Toshiba 10.1-inch Regza AT300 Honeycomb tablet hits Japan in June

Toshiba’s first Honeycomb tablet is almost available and has now been priced and given a ship date. The 10.1 inch tablet with a 1,280 x 800 pixel display, USB, HDMI, and 5 megapixel rear-facing camera will be Japan-only for right now.

The Tegra-2 powered Android 3.0 tablet shall be known as the Regza AT300 and will cost you about $723. It will hit Japan in late June. Hopefully it will arrive here soon as well, but for now this is for Japan only.

Sumixe 7-Inch Android Tablet

Another day, another tablet enters the packed arena. This time it’s a budget-friendly Android tablet from Chinavasion, the Sumixe. This tablet is priced at an affordable $141.33 and features a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive multitouch display, a 720MHz Telechips 8900 ARM11 processor and 256MB of RAM.

Other features include 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a 0.3-megapixel front camera, WiFi, an HDMI port, a built-in 2W speaker, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1800mAh battery and Android 2.1 is running everything.
