Wiitality for hands-free Wii-fit play

Posted in Wii by Conner Flynn on November 22nd, 2009

Wiitality for hands-free Wii-fit playMan, playing games on the Wii can be hard. You are expected to do stuff like move your arms, hold them up, push buttons… All while holding the Wiimote. Add an exercise game to that, like Wii-Fit and it can be brutal. What, do they think we are superhuman?

Well, Talismoon’s Wiitality accessory can help. What we have here is little more than a neoprene band that holds your Wiimote in place, securing the controller on your arm with Velcro straps. At least they aren’t trying to charge a ton of money for it. The Wiitality will cost you $3 at Amazon.

sprint-logo1One of the things that has many iPhone users angered is that while the iPhone has tethering capability, AT&T has blocked the feature. I can only imagine how angry the users would be if they had been able to tether the iPhone for years and the feature was cancelled without notice. Sprint has done just that for some of its customers.

A poster going by kevinapg has posted at the Sprint Blogs that the ability to tether his Blackberry handset has been blocked. The poster states that for years tethering has been supported through the Sprint Smartview software.

tomtomcarkitOne of the big improvements of the iPhone 3G and 3GS compared to the original iPhone was the inclusion of GPS allowing for navigation capabilities in the device. TomTom has announced that its Car Kit for iPhone is now available for users to purchase in Europe. The kit includes a secure mount dock that charges and holds the iPhone while it works as a PND. The dock allows the iPhone to be in portrait or landscape mode.

BlueWatchDog: Bluetooth personal anti-theft device

Posted in Bluetooth by Conner Flynn on September 30th, 2009

BlueWatchDog: Bluetooth personal anti-theft deviceBluetooth technology is great for handling wireless, hands-free calls, but I bet you’ve never used it like this. Think of this one as a virtual perimeter device. The BlueWatchDog Personal Anti-Theft Alarm will alert you on your cellphone if someone steals your belongings, like say your wallet and takes them outside of your specific radius.

Basically the alarm will sound in an ear piercing shriek that hopefully will make the thief scared and drop what they are stealing…. Only to have them break it if it’s an expensive device no doubt.
