Hand Grenade USB driveIf you have a love of all things grenade, then check out this Grenade USB drive. It measures in at 60mm x 30mm x 30mm and weighs just 15grams. What it lacks in explosives, it makes up for with 4GB of storage space.

DIY Grenade MP3 player is the bomb

Posted in DIY by Conner Flynn on January 20th, 2009

DIY Grenade MP3 player is the bombObviously you shouldn’t try this at home. It’s not a real smart idea to start modding live grenades. This one was an inert hand grenade, therefore the creator still walks among us. Ingredients? 1 inert grenade, a 1GB Sansa MP3 player and a hacksaw. That’s all you need.

If this sort of lethal DIY project interests you, you can try your hand at making one. Just don’t lose your hand…er…arm. Torso. It looks like a fairly simple build and a basic description can be found in the link below if you want to have a look. This is one of those Field of Dreams deals. You know, “If you build it, they will come”. They, being the FBI, local police, Homeland Security etc.

Hand Grenade mouse mod

Posted in Mouse by Conner Flynn on October 2nd, 2008

Hand Grenade mouse modI’m not sure if I could use this mouse. For one thing, the urge to pull the pin would be too great and I would be afraid of it going off in my hand since it was apparently made from an old grenade casing. Though I suppose it’s more likely to kill your wrist with it’s anti-ergonomics.

The guy who modded it even wired up the trigger as the left mouse button. It might be good for those with sensitive data on their computer though. If you have the need, just pull the pin and run, hopefully blowing the hell out of everything. War, huh, good god yo, what is it good for? Absolutely nothin’ ‘cept for making a mouse. Sing it with me.

Hobbytron M4 ElectricAirsoft Rifle is perfect for woodpeckers

Posted in Accessories by Shane McGlaun on July 4th, 2008

M4 Electric Airsoft RifleSince the summer began my house has been besieged by woodpeckers. The birds pecked on my house until they have actually made holes in the eaves. I really want to get rid of the little red head birds, but I don’t want to just go postal on them.

Despite the fact that I don’t want to just kill them, I wouldn’t mind knocking them a bit senseless and the M4 3181 AEG Airsoft Rifle with M203 Spring Grenade launched might do just the trick. Yeah, it has got one seriously long name but is there any denying how cool it looks?

Wrist grenade watch is the bomb!

Wrist grenade watch is the bomb!
It takes a special kind of nerd guy to strap a hand grenade to their wrist. First off it’s bound to be heavy thanks to it’s stainless steel case contruction. Plus it’s bound to get you all kinds of weird looks as you flip it open to see the time.

Chuck Norris may be the only person in the world that this looks appropriate on. It’s even water-resistant up to 3ATM, which comes in handy when you are pretending to be a Navy Seal. Comes in Army Green or Matte Black finishes with either a skinny canvas or wide leather and canvas wristband. They start around $125 each.

Pinqy Fire Extinguisher

Pinqy fire extinguisherThis little Pinqy fire extinguisher looks more like something dangerous than something that will save you in an emergency. The grenade-shaped extinguisher is only 14 cm tall and is lightweight but packs the same pressure as a larger 1kg extinguisher. It obviously doesn’t pack the same volume though and the company recommends it as a handy gadget “when you have the beginnings of a fire at hand”.

It has a gauge that can be regularly checked for pressure and is small enough to be stored just about anywhere, such as a cupboard, car, boat or desk. …

Developing a Fracture

Posted in Games, LucasArts by Chetz on May 7th, 2007

Fracture for PS3 from LucasArtsThe developers at LucasArts aren’t just about making games with lightsabers and TIE Fighters in them. A case in point comes in the shape of “Fracture”, one of their new titles now in development and slated for a mid-2008 release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Under development by Day 1 Studios, you step into the boots of Mason Briggs, a soldier from the mid 22nd century that uses weapons that can deform and manipulate the terrain around you to turn a physical disadvantage into a strategic advantage.

Suppose that …
