Posted in Apparel by Conner Flynn on June 27th, 2010

This Space Invaders messenger bag displays your allegiance to human-kind and tells passers-by that you are not afraid to kill row upon row of aliens to get the high score. Sure, these are not official Space Invaders on this messenger bag, but they look good to me.

This vinyl messenger bag will carry your portable gadgets, maybe a small laptop, or an iPad. And you’ll be displaying your geeky side.

The Messenger Bag Director’s Chair

Posted in Furniture by Conner Flynn on April 7th, 2009

The Messenger Bag Director’s ChairHere’s a transformer that Michael Bay had nothing to do with. Pretty cool. Transform your bag into a chair. Because historically chairs have been tough to carry around. Which is why you don’t see too many people walking down the street carrying them. But that’s all changed now.

The Messenger Bag Director’s Chair comes with telescoping legs and a folding backrest so you can fold it down to less than 4” thick in just seconds. It’s durable too, with an aluminum and steel frame and a 600-denier nylon mesh seat supporting up to 250 lbs. The sweetness doesn’t end there however. How about an integrated cup holder and two pockets in the armrests? This chair insure that no matter where you go, you’ll always have a seat.

Echo Bot Voice Messenger is a geeky desk guard

Posted in Security by Conner Flynn on March 19th, 2009

Echo Bot Voice Messenger is a geeky desk guardAt first glance the Echo Bot Voice Messenger looks like a webcam. It isn’t and it is designed to fool people in just that way. It’s really a motion detector that will guard your desk or cubicle from others who might intrude.

The idea is that you record messages that are triggered by the motion detector. Just record your message,(We would advise something nasty and filled with some particularly colorful metaphors about respecting your stuff) then let the motion detector do it’s thing. If your co-worker invades your space they are going to get a nasty surprise.

iSkin silo fashion laptop bags for geekettes surface

Posted in Computer Cases by Shane McGlaun on April 28th, 2010

My wife would rather carry her netbook around without a case than use one of the “ugly” laptop bags I have around the house. I am more interested in protecting the netbook if I drop it, but she wants something that looks good first and works second.

iSkin has pulled the wraps off a new line of designer notebook bags for the women called silo. The silo line has five prints and three different bag styles. The prints include Digital Camo, Happy Friends, Royal, Ami, and Karl the Ninja.

i-Knock IM notifier hits it’s own head, with a hammer

i-Knock IM notifier hits it’s own head, with a hammer
Sing it with me. “Bang bang i-Knock’s silver hammer came down upon his head…”. If you’re looking for a different kind of IM notifier, this might be for you. That is if you don’t mind watching this little guy whack himself on the head every time you get a message. With a really creepy voice I might add.

You can customize it with mp3 files for any of your contacts. Hear a different mp3 song when your different contacts send you a message. It works with Skype, MSN, and Yahoo Messenger. Check out the video of this thing in action. I’m confident it will thoroughly creep you out and make you thank the great gadget God in the sky that you do not own one.
