Xbox 360 Elite launching in Japan in OctoberMicrosoft announced today the planned launch of the upgraded Xbox 360 Elite in Japan on October 11th. This launch will be an attempt to drive more attention to the game console whose sales have been lagging in Japan behind rivals Sony and Nintendo. Nintendo Wii tops current generation console sales for MarchAccording to a report Thursday by NPD, the Nintendo Wii led the sales of current generation game consoles by once again beating out the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3. Price cut announced on PSP from SonySony has officially announced a price drop in the US for its PlayStation Portable by $30 bringing the purchase price down to $170, as well as a 20% drop on the PSP Entertainment pack which now sells for $200.
