If you’re a hardcore gamer stuck on a crappy desktop, this is a good opportunity for you to upgrade to a nice gaming system at an affordable price. CyberPower has launched a new desktop PC that is targeted at those who want to buy an Alienware-type gaming PC, but lack the necessary scratch.

Priced at $539, the CyberPower Gamer Ultra 7208 features a 2.8GHz AMD Athlon dual core processor, a 4GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 9500GT video card with 1GB VRAM, and a 500GB hard drive. Some other features include a 22x DVD burner, on-board Surround Sound and LAN. The PC is powered by Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit.

Since 2004, the Hotelicopter project has been underway. So for 5 years they’ve been working on modifying a Soviet-made Mil V-12 into the “world’s biggest helicopter” and at the same time, the “world’s first flying hotel. It’s an amazing piece of work, like a double-decker bus for the skies.

You might have heard. What with the whacked economy and all, Hyundai is not only making cars, but cell phones as well.

To refresh, the MB-910 timepiece is a tri-band GSM/GPRS mobile phone with around three hours of talk time, 70 hours on standby and polyphonic ringtones. No video calls, but it does have a 132 x 176 touchscreen able to display WAP-captured content, SMS and MMS messages, and videos.

Love cars? Love zipping your mouse around your desktop pretending it’s a Mustang? Then this might be your thing Speed Racer. These mice are modeled after a range of classics including the Ford Mustang GT, a Chevy Concept Camaro and a Dodge Charger SRT8. The Road Mice collection offers 800 dpi resolution and will work with both PC and Mac. As for ergonomics, not so much. But they’ll let you enjoy a scaled down version if you can’t have the real deal parked in your garage. They retail for $44.95.

Gateway recently unveiled some new desktop PCs – some of which are new models and the rest of which are revamps of existing PC line ups. These new computers are mostly available now, with prices ranging from around $550 to $3,500.

Gateway specifically updated or added new FX, GT and DX Series models. The one pictured above, for example, is the FX7026. All of these computers offer either Intel or AMD processors and at least one available at retail still has Windows XP. For more details, check out the full press release after the jump.

Fujifilm was showing off this week its most advanced SLR styled digital camera to date. It is called the Fujifilm FinePix S100FS and pricing is set around $800.

The Fujifilm FinePix S100FS is a 11-megapixel shooter with a 14.3x Fujinon manual zoom lens, 2.5-inch tiltable LCD screen and ISO capabilities up to ISO 6400. Featured technologies on this prosumer SLR include dual image stabilization, face detection with red eye removal and film simulation modes.

Canon is introducing this week a new entry level digital SLR to its popular line of EOS Rebel digital cameras. It is called the Canon EOS Rebel XSi and pricing is set at around $800 for a body only kit and $900 for a lens kit which includes the EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens.

The Rebel Xsi is a 12.2-megapixel shooter which Canon has dressed up with “an improved autofocus sensor, enhanced 14-bit A/D conversion, an advanced Live View function, and the proprietary DIGIC III image processor.” Canon has also newly designed this camera’s CMOS sensor.

Within minutes of arriving at our hotel in LA we were whisked over to the convection center where we were able to get a hands-on look at the Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell and even got to drive it on actual LA streets, not some weak obstacle course in a parking lot. Driving the car felt an awful lot like driving any other car, and I think that was GM’s goal. It didn’t smell funny, there was no crazy steering wheel or driver controls and it didn’t fly. However it did make a unique air-blowing noise from the back when it first started, but no sounds reminiscent of the Jetsons.

RC cars aren’t just for kids anymore. Not when your toy can reach speeds up to 60 MPH. Let’s face it, the bigger and faster they are, the more we want one under our Christmas tree.

This particular RC car is gas powered. Hence the power. It’s a 1:5 scale replica of a Ford GT, which is also built for speed. Under the hood is a 23cc engine with 15kb metal gear ratio, 450cc fuel tank, and even disc brakes. Just in case you want to slow down. Yeah right.
