Are you a video game voyeur? If so, here’s some good news. But first, OnLive plans to launch Android and iOS apps later this year that will let you stream PS3, Xbox, and other console-quality video games from a central server. The new apps will let you play games using a virtual on-screen gamepad or an optional Bluetooth controller. Now to what you want to hear, or in this case, see. While you are waiting for those apps, OnLive already has an iPad app that lets you watch games that others are playing. You peeping gaming Toms you.

The company has released its first OnLive Viewer app for Android, for the HTC Flyer tablet. Looks like it also works on several other devices too, including the NOOK Color, HTC Thunderbolt, Desire HD, Evo 4G, and Droid X.

Let’s face it, Sony needs all the help it can get right now, with all of the hacks it has been suffering. That’s probably why Sony is teasing this limited edition PS3 bundle that gets you Call of Duty: Black Ops with a 160GB console.

The price is $299 and Sony’s also throwing in the First Strike content pack. It will be available next week, starting on May 31. If you are just getting a PS3 this is the one to get. This game will have you playing for months.

Nintendo knows all about supply and demand and how to work the system. There is high demand for Nintendo’s games, so much so that often times third-party game sales on Nintendo’s consoles suffer at the hands of first-party titles.

Nintendo, in a move to avoid hurting it’s third party titles, has decided that they will only decide on the dates of popular first party releases after they know the release plans of other companies’ games. That has to be good news to third party developers.

We’ve all been waiting for Killzone 3 to arrive. The game looks amazing and should outdo Killzone 2 in sales and overall awesomeness. But now 41.4GB worth of files have been leaked to Torrent sites containing Guerrilla Games’ upcoming first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3.

The game isn’t due to be released until Feb. 22nd. That’s a problem obviously. But it isn’t all bad news for Sony. Only hacked PS3 consoles will be able to play the game. The 41.4GB file contains the European version of the game and a rumored second non-3D version is making the rounds at roughly half the size.

Looking for some retro gaming on your Android Smartphone? Well, you’re in luck. A new Sega Dreamcast Emulator is currently in development for the Android OS. It’s still in the early stages of development, but it shouldn’t be very long before you are playing the classics on your Android phone.

Can you believe its been 11 years since the Sega Dreamcast was first launched? It was the first console to include a built-in modem and Internet support for online play. Sadly, it was discontinued a few years later, but remains a favorite of many gamers.

Now that iOS, Windows Phone 7 and seemingly every game console are streaming Netflix video, the company is focusing on Android. In early 2011, Netflix will appear on “select Android devices,” according to the company’s blog, which promises a “standard, platform-wide solution” for Android in the future.

So why did it take so long? And you might also be asking why Netflix will be limited to particular handsets when it first rolls out? They have an answer. “The hurdle has been the lack of a generic and complete platform security and content protection mechanism available for Android,”

Digital downloads might seem like the future when it comes to consoles, but realistically it is still a long way off, according to Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Kaz Hirai. He ruled out future digital-only PlayStation consoles (perhaps thinking about the PS4), despite Sony being the first company do so with the PSPgo. In that case it didn’t go over so well.

Most gamers still prefer physical media anyway, so it will be a long time before we see digital only consoles go mainstream. Would you want physical content or digital?

People like their consoles like they like their supermodels, thin and puking. Well, thin anyway. With two nice round buttons in front. But nevermind that. The newly launched Xbox 360 has sold 15,000 units in Japan in the first four days. The strong sales were in addition to 2,370 of the previous generation version of the games console. The week before the release saw only 2,060 Xbox units of any kind moved.

Sales were helped by the launch of Capcom’s top-selling game, Monster Hunter Frontier Online. In Japan the new slim console costs $339 while the previous Elite version dropped to $282.

Word on the street is that Sony is set to reveal a premium tier of the PlayStation Network service, labeled PSN+, during E3 2010. Unlike Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold service, PSN+ will focus on giving paid subscribers additional bonuses without limiting online multiplayer between paying and nonpaying users.

Subscribers will have access to a rotating list of PSP Minis and PSone Classics, exclusive in-game DLC, discounts to the PlayStation Store and “first hour” demo access on full retail titles. After the first hour of gameplay, players will be able to purchase the full title, but demo access will only be available once the entire title has been downloaded.

We had heard that Nintendo and the American Heart Association would be making an announcement today. Naturally we thought that it was regarding Nintendo’s Vitality Sensor. Turns out that it was about something else entirely. The AHA has announced that it’s giving its stamp of approval to the Wii.

Wii Fit Plus and Wii Sports Resort too. That’s a big first for a video game console and as ABC News points out, the association hasn’t seen fit to put its seal on other “active” things like baseball bats. It had a good reason to do so in this case, however, as the organization says it will be receiving $1.5 million from Nintendo over three years as a result of the partnership.

3D is very popular around the world today thanks in part to the massively popular Avatar film bringing more viewers to watch 3D content. There are also many networks and satellite providers working on providing 3D content for home viewers.

3D will also find its way to portable game consoles, smartphones, and digital cameras. Sharp has unveiled a new camera module that is the first to be able to record 3D images in 720p resolution. The module is able to do this by using two sensors that take pictures at the same time.

We know that you Wii users have been dying to watch some Netflix instant content on your Nintendo console. Good news. The first batch of Netflix Watch Instantly discs for the Nintendo Wii have now been shipped.

If you already ordered one, you can track its status. Some of you will get them as early as tomorrow. You may not be getting HD, but at least you can enjoy the Netflix library of instant movies and TV while using a Wiimote.

One of the big reasons that I bought my PS3 when the console first came out was so I could use it as a Blu-ray player. As it turns out that was a great decision thanks to the myriad of new features that Sony adds to the device like the coming 3D update.

Joystiq reports that Sony has shrunk the OS the PS3 uses from 120MB down to 50MB. The really good news is that the electronics giant is playing Robin Hood and has given that extra RAM to game developers to play with.

Let us be the first to welcome Brazil into the year 2000. The world’s gamers have been enjoying Sony’s PlayStation 2 since that year, but it is just now arriving in Brazil. Sure it’s been available to Brazilians by unofficial means, but not in any legit way.

If you live in Brazil, you can now enjoy last-generation’s game console champion for just 799 BRL, which translates to roughly $461 in US coin. We don’t see this flying off of Brazilian shelves. Do you?

You know I admit that I wasn’t sure what to think of the PSP Go when I first heard about it. I have a few UMD games around and the thought of not being able to play them because of UMD not being part of the Go irked me. I guess that didn’t bother many buyers because in the days since the Go went official sales have gone up 300% according to Sony.

In addition to hardware sales climbing 300% since launch, sales of download games on the PlayStation Store have also climbed 200%. That means that gamers are actually buying games for the Go. The increase in sale isn’t in the U.S. only either.
