iSkin EarTones earphone/mic combo

iSkins, the Mac accessory maker, has unveiled a new line of sporty looking earphones called EarTones which have built-in mics specially designed for iOS devices, but they will also work with Mac and Windows computers when you use programs like Skype, iChat or FaceTime.

The microphone will give you call and iPod control on iOS devices and the iPad 2. The earphones have some great features too, like an anti-bacterial coating and a flexible neck to give the earbuds a better fit. Plus they look pretty stylish.

Scosche launches new line of headphones

Scosche is big in the accessory market for the iPhone and iPad along with lots of other devices. The company makes all sorts of wares and we first caught wind of a new line of earphones back during CES.

That new line of headphones is now available from Scosche and includes the IDR655m, IDR355m, IDR355md, and IDR305m. All of the earphones have the tapLINE II Remote and Mic for controlling tracks and making phone calls.

Bang & Olufsen have announced their EarSet 3, as a “unique mobile accessory” pairing music headphones and a phone headset in a single device. They bridge your cell phone headset and MP3 player earphones in one. I know, that doesn’t seem very unique, but what are you gonna do? The company’s first stereo headset with a built-in microphone is compatible with the Apple iPhone.

The 1.09 oz set has been developed to closely match the contours and curves of each ear, ensuring that no sound escapes. The ear buds include foam rubber covers and should stay firmly and comfortably in place.

ZVUE rolls out ZP3 flash memory player

ZVUE ZP3ZVUE, a maker of low cost portable media and digital audio players, today unveiled a thumb-drive style player which uses flash memory. The new ZVUE ZP3 is available in a 512 MB configuration.

The ZVUE ZP3 is capable of holding upwards of 125 songs in MP3 format. It comes preloaded with 30 top music hits of the year and is also capable of playing WMA music, including DRM subscription music. It is loaded through Windows Media Player and connects to a computer via USB.
