Panasonic releases three new iPhone/ iPod docking stations |
Panasonic has launched three new iPhone/ iPod docking stations in Japan. They are the SC-HC55, SC-HC35 and SC-HC05. All of these new docking stations come with FM radio and Bluetooth support. The Panasonic SC-HC55 is the high-end version and features a CD player and Bluetooth hands-free module with an output of 2x40W.
The Panasonic SC-HC35 lacks the Bluetooth hands-free module, while the Panasonic SC-HC05 is an entry-level model without a CD player and Bluetooth hands-free module. They look pretty good.






Panasonic has unveiled their latest iPod docks from their D-Dock series. Dubbed the Panasonic SC-HC4 and HC3, these slim iPod docking stations pack in a digital amplifier delivering 20Watts × 2 channels output, an AM/ FM tuner, CD player and a SD card slot.
The last few weeks have seen several large recalls of products by consumer electronics makers. Sony is certainly no stranger to recalls and was one of the companies that recalled huge numbers of batteries a few years ago.
These new Barbie iPod docks are great if you live in an oversized Malibu dreamhouse, have never grown up and are female. If you fit that description, these Barbie iPod docks are for you. All of that pink is sure to annoy the Ken in your life however.

GEAR4 has announced the ChargeDock. They describe it as a “great looking and superbly functional home docking station for iPod and iPhone”. Isn’t that what all docking stations should aspire to be? When you toot your own horn like that, it makes us not that into you. Just fyi.
Microsoft made the official
Not so long ago if you wanted to add a second or third display to your computer that meant you needed a video card with multiple outputs or maybe even an additional video card. That meant a significant outlay of money and buying new hardware.
Most iPod docking stations don’t support charging capability for your iPhone 3G, iPod Touch Gen 2, and iPod Nano Gen 4. It’s because of USB voltage differences. Scosche has come up with a converter named the passPORT Home Dock, that allows users to charge their iPhone 3G on these iPod docking stations.

Sony has unveiled a lineup of 3 new high-def Handycam camcorders led by the HDR-CX7 which is currently the smallest and lightest AVCHD camcorder available. Weighing only 15 ounces with the battery, the HDR-CX7 can record up to 3 hours of full HD 1080 video onto an 8GB Memory Stick.
We all know the number of iPod accessories available these days, and some of them are actually kinda’ nice to have. There are many types of iPod cases available as well, but the problem is that once the case is on your iPod it increases the size of the device and the docking connector can’t reach the port anymore.
