Creative is on a roll. Now the company has announced the availability of the ZiiSound Dx series of pure wireless modular speakers. The ZiiSound Dx series includes the ZiiSound D3x wireless modular speaker, ZiiSound D3x wireless one-piece speaker and ZiiSound DSx wireless subwoofer.

These speakers are sure to sound great and they connect independently to stereo Bluetooth devices like your iPhone, Blackberry, Android smartphone, iPad or Creative ZiiO tablet. The ZiiSound Dx series also uses apt-X audio technology for superior sound.

Creative unveils ZEN M300 portable media player

It’s been a while since Creative unveiled a new PMP. And now Creative has announced the new ZEN M300 portable music player. The device features a micro-SD slot and FM radio with Bluetooth support.

The M300 looks pretty stylish and is available in red, black, yellow and white. It comes in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, with a 1.45″ screen and it measures 55 x 44 x 12 mm with feather touch buttons. Looks like a great way to carry your music with you.

Creative outs new Bluetooth speakers

Creative has unveiled the wireless one-piece D80, a Bluetooth speaker that is pretty much identical to the previous D100, except for a lower price at $50 and a loss of battery power. Not much to get excited about.

The $300 ZiiSound D5x on the other hand, is compatible with the new D3x modular speaker and DSx modular subwoofer, which are both priced at $150. The D80 arrives this month and the ZiiSound’s components will arrive this summer.

Creative WP Series Folding Bluetooth Headphones

Creative is living up to it’s name as usual, having just announced a new line of headphones named the WP Series, designed specially for mobile phone users who want superior voice quality for calls and the best audio playback for music. It will be arriving in stores this month and during September 2011 as well.

These headphones are Bluetooth compatible and there are three models: the WP-450, WP-350 and WP-250. All can be folded for easy storage and portability, and will deliver about 8 hours of playback and 9 hours of talk time. The Creative WP350 incorporate an invisible microphone and the WP-250 have an in-ear design. The WP350 is £89.99 and will be arriving in May, the other models will arrive in September. The WP450 is £119.99 and the WP250 is £59.99.

Creative Zen Touch 2 hits the FCC

Creative has filed for FCC approval for the Zen Touch 2 media player. They needed the certification due to the 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 wireless capabilities of the Android-based device. Other specs include a resistive touchscreen and Android 2.1. The filing confirms that there will be two versions of the player, one with GPS and one without.

Creative hasn’t unveiled any pricing for the US market for the Touch 2 yet, but in the UK, the 8GB version retails for £150 ($231), while the 16GB version retails for £160 ($246).

Creative ZiiO 7 Android Tablet hits the FCC

The Creative ZiiO 7 Android-powered tablet has taken another step toward entering your hands here in the US since it has now had lunch with the FCC. The device is expected to be priced at GBP199.99 ($315) in the UK, but so far we have no info about how much it will cost stateside.

The ZiiO 7 features specs like a ZiiLabs HD processor, Support for HD video playback, a 7-inch 480 x 800 pixel display, 8GB to 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth, microSD card expansion and an HDMI output.

Creative announces Zen Touch2 Android MP3 Player

Yesterday the new Creative ZiiO Android tablets were announced, and today we have a new Android based MP3 player, the Creative Zen Touch2. The Creative Zen Touch2 sports a 3.2 inch touch screen display and runs Google Android 2.1, but there is no access to the Android Market.

Other features include a built in web browser, a two megapixel camera, an FM radio, accelerometer, and a microSD card slot. The device will be available in several different sizes, with the 8GB version costing £149.99 while the 16GB version will cost £159.99. There is also an 8GB model with built in GPS for £159.99.

Creative Ziio 7 and 10 inch Android tablets

Creative has just announced a pair of 7-inch (480 x 800) and 10-inch (1024 x 768) Ziio tablets running the Android 2.1 OS. Both tablets feature a ZiiLabs ZMS-08 processor, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, WiFi 802.11b/g, and microSD expansion.

They’re scheduled to ship in December with the 7-inch model costing €229 (8GB) or €259 (16GB) and the 10-inch model costing €289 (8GB) or €319 (16GB). No word on whether they will hit the US or not. You have enough tablets to choose from here anyway.

Creative’s next-gen Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB Sound Card can record LPs to Mp3

Creative has a brand new sound card. The Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB Sound Card is the next-gen version of their X-Fi Surround 5.1 USB. It offers nearly the same specs as the 5.1 USB, but with a few improvements. THX TruStudio Pro is on board to enhance audio for the hardcore gamer and movie buffs as well.

There is also an audio input and capture ability along with front-facing headphone jacks of the larger 1/4 inch variety. It also has special RCA inputs for phonograph input. Lastly, the software that’s bundled with it can be used to convert LP’s to FLAC, OGG or MP3 formats.

Creative Sound Blaster Wireless MultiPlay System hits the FCC

Creative is one of the big names you think of when it comes to sound and now they have sent this Sound Blaster Wireless MultiPlay system to the FCC, which should consist of a MultiPlay transmitter, a controller, and a wireless receiver.

The design lets you attach the transmitter to your PC, install the Creative Music Server software, and control the audio system with the receiver plugged into it using the controller. The audio can also be streamed to Creative’s existing wireless speakers or headphones and will accept up to four devices. Creative sees this as a multi-room solution, to control specific zones of music through your house.

Creative launches T12 Wireless Speaker System in Singapore

Creative has been unveiling several new wireless speakers systems over the last week or so. The latest offering from Creative will land this month in Singapore and should make its way stateside eventually. The speaker system is called the Creative T12 Wireless Speaker System.

The new speaker system is a 2.0 system and is compatible with all Bluetooth devices including the iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. The system can also pair to other iPods with an optional transmitter or to notebooks with another optional transmitter.

Creative has been around for a long time and I first knew them as the company that made sound cards for gaming PCs and other computers. Today Creative has all sorts of gear from MP3 players to speakers and still makes those sound cards too.

Creative has announced a new speaker for outdoor use called the Sound Blaster Wireless Rock. The speaker is one of those outside jobs that looks like a granite stone sitting there. It gets power from a lithium ion battery pack that is removable for charging.

Creative is launching two new wireless speaker systems, the D200 and D100. The Creative D200 claims to have the same “sonic soul” as their ZiiSound D5, but at a lower price and will give you 9 watts RMS over each channel.

The Creative D100 is the entry level model and comes in a wide range of colors, like black, pink, green and blue. It has both mains power and the option of batteries using 4x AA. Creative says that it will give you 40 hours at 75% volume. The D100 offers 2 watts RMS over each channel.

Maingear offers Quantum Shift workstation for creative pros

Maingear has all sorts of boutique and high-end computers for users to choose from. The firm was first big in the gaming notebook market and it is now making inroads into the workstation market with its cool Shift computers.

Maingear has unveiled a new workstation called the Quantum Shift that is aimed at creative pros that will be using Adobe Creative Suite 5 or CS5. The Quantum Shift can be fitted with up to three NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics cards.

Creative introduces ZEN X-Fi Style Media Players
