Sony PS3 has movie downloads comingIn a recent interview with 1UP Phil Harrison, president of studios worldwide for Sony, said that the long term plan for the Playstation3 is to add digitally downloaded content to the existing built-in hard drive, including movies and TV shows.

Shortage Continues for Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii Game ConsolesAnalysts are reporting that the shortage of the Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintindo Wii game consoles may continue up until March or even longer.

Paul-John McNealy from American Technology Research said that even though Sony has a target of shipping 1 million game consoles by year end, that could translate into 600,000 to 800,000 actual units being shipped since the 1 million included ones that are warehoused and in-transit.
