Where would we be without colorware? Our gadgets would be just a monochrome void. Now it is the Apple iPad 2′s turn to get the Colorware treatment. You can make it as beautiful or as ugly as you want. Just be prepared to pay a premium.

It will cost you $910 for the base 16GB WiFi configuration and you’ll need to wait about 4 weeks for it to arrive. Once it does, your device won’t look like everyone elses and your friends will all know that you are down about a grand.

ColorWare now coloring the Dyson Air Multiplier

ColorWare, the company that paints gadgets for excessive amounts of money now has another gadget to color. This time its the already overpriced $300 Dyson Air Multiplier getting the $450 ColorWare treatment. For that absurd price you’ll get a brand new “bladeless fan” with the airfoil, base, and control colors of your choice.

If you already own one, you can spend $150 to send yours in and get it painted up. If you think you can spend a few weeks without it that is.

MacBook Air 2010 gets Colorware treatment

Everyone’s ultrathin Apple laptop looks the same as everyone else’s. It’s hard to stand out from the crowd when all your gear looks alike. Enter Colorware. Starting at $1,850 you can get a MacBook Air made in 2010, made exactly to your color specifications.

Sure it’s crazy expensive, but if we could afford it we would all be doing it right? Sadly, there’s no option for repainting an Air if you already have one, so you’ll have to buy it direct from Colorware.

Apple cancels white iPhone 4?

The saga of the White iPhone 4 continues. Last night Apple announced that the company would further delay the release of the white iPhone 4 and now some additional information points toward the fact that Apple actually has no plans to roll out a white version of the iPhone 4.

The “delay” might actually suggest an iPhone 5 release time-frame of June or July 2011. Of course, no one knows for sure. I guess there’s always Colorware standing by to spruce up your device.

HTC announces Green Gratia Android Phone for Europe

This may look like Colorware has gotten a hold of an HTC phone, but it’s actually the newly-announced HTC Gratia, which will go on sale in November across Europe.

The phone is available in green, white, and black and will be powered by Android 2.2. No mention of pricing yet, but some specs include: A 600MHz processor, 512MB ROM and 384MB RAM, 5-megapixel camera, 3.2-inch 320 x 480 pixel display, Front VGA camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, G-sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and a microSD card slot.

Normally all Colorware does is spiffy up your gadgets with new coats of paint, but now they have gone and actually created a genuine product. The ColorWare Grip for iPad.

Yes, it makes your iPad look all silly, like a kid’s toy. The idea is that it lets you carry your iPad safely and securely with custom ColorWare colors of course. The case is made of aircraft-grade aluminum with a fitted handle.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 gets the Colorware treatment

RIM’s BlackBerry Torch 9800 may not be all that we had hoped it would be, but that doesn’t matter to the folks at Colorware. They will color it up no matter what your feelings on the device are. And we have to admit, it looks pretty decent in the color scheme above.

It’s available to customize anyway you want for $250 or it will cost you $1,050 to buy new. You make the call.

We aren’t sure why you would want to, but if you so desire, Colorware will paint your Magic Trackpad in whatever colors you desire. How much would you spend to paint the device?

$200? $150? How about $75 for a paint-job? That’s right, for just $75, you can get yourself some color on that device. Or you can just spray paint the thing yourself for practically nothing.

As always, prices are ridiculous, starting at $165 to color your device. It will cost you $640 for a brand new phone from them. Of course you could always try painting it yourself, but that’s just going to end in tears isn’t it?

Mac Mini gets colorful thanks to Colorware

No gadget shall be spared Colorware’s wrath. The Mac Mini is the latest to get it’s technicolor dream coat as the folks at Colorware have added Apple’s Mac Mini to their roster.

The $250 price tag is for the paintjob by itself and it’s $1,000 if you want them to provide the hardware as well. So, who is buying all these colorful gadgets anyway? Probably a handful of rich dudes with a very colorful rainbow home.

ColorWare has been making your gadgets unique and beautiful for awhile now, but when it comes to the iPhone 4, it may help more than with just looks. They’re trying to confirm it, but their process might include fixing the device’s death-grip.

You know the drill, you pick out a color scheme, give ColorWare $250, send them your iPhone 4, and wait. You will get your iPhone 4 with a nice paint job and maybe that signal-killing death grip will be a thing of the past. Maybe.

It seems there isn’t a thing Colorware won’t paint. Now you can jazz up that new Xbox 360. The color options are near limitless. If you’ve already picked one up, Colorware is charging $175 for the send-in option.

If you want to buy new, that technicolor dreamcoat will cost you $500 bucks. Totally worth it for a part red, part lime, part purple Xbox right? No one understands your sense of color like Colorware.

ColorWare your Segway for $6k

Segway fans can now get some color on their vehicle instead of just living with black, white or sage. All thanks to ColorWare, who is obviously moving on to coloring larger gadgets these days. We aren’t sure if they will accept your current Segway to paint, or if they’re only selling new Segways like with their HDTV deal.

You can choose different colors for the handle bar, upper leansteer, lower leansteer, leansteer hub, center console, front bumper, rear bumper, front battery, rear battery, fenders, inner hubs, wheels and hub caps.

They will color the bejesus out of whatever you have. But this time, instead of mocking up your TV’s new paint job on their site, you’ll have to call with the type of colors you want to customize all over your TV. What color would you want?
