Posted in Cameras by Conner Flynn on July 14th, 2011

Many camera bags lack the necessary room to hold your charger or another battery or anything else inside. It might not make a lot of sense, but that’s just how it is. You have lenses that you need to carry with you as well. Well, the Chrome Niko might be the solution.

There is another zippered opening on top, with room for your charger, extra batteries, etc. The bag is made from weather proof 1050 denier nylon with a waterproof 18-ounce tarpaulin liner.

Netflix for Nintendo 3DS now streaming

Posted in Netflix by Conner Flynn on July 14th, 2011

Right on schedule, this morning Netflix for 3DS owners is now available. The app gives the game system access to the entire catalog as long as you have a streaming-enabled plan. Bookmarking works and lets users resume on the 3DS or even another device.

Obviously videos on Netflix are in 2D. We doubt that Netflix will start adding 3D anytime soon. The app is free to download from the Nintendo eShop. With the new price structure streaming is $8, but costs $16 for those who also want unlimited DVDs as well.

Microsoft has already confirmed that the company plans to build Xbox LIVE into the PC and into Windows 8, but the latest rumor is that Xbox 360 games will be playable on Windows 8 PCs.

The rumors may be true if references to the Xbox 360 in Windows 8 are anything to go by. Italian site win8italia has discovered several strings that mention the Xbox 360 system inside the Windows 8 kernel. “XBOX_360_SYSTEM_CRASH” and “XBOX_360_SYSTEM_CRASH_RESERVED” are present in ntoskrnl.exe, part of the Windows NT kernel. The strings hint at much tighter integration between Xbox 360 systems and Windows 8.
