Let’s say you love fish, but have no extra room for an aquarium. That’s where putting fish in your sink comes in real handy. Or maybe you have so many fish, you’ve run out of places to put them. I’m sure it will be loads of fun watching the fish freak out every time you wash your hands.

Which is probably why GM and Ford choose not to use Legos. Plus Lego cars are super heavy and hard to sit in. Plus next thing you know, you’d have Lego and Duplo monopolizing the car market and that wouldn’t be good. Still I suppose they could arrange for the outside of 50% of Lego cars to have the bricks facing inward and half facing outward so that when they crash, they have a 50/50 chance of either crashing or interlocking which should be safer.

The UV Intensity Bikini obviously looks just as awesome as any other bikini on a smoking body. But aside from that, it sports some beads that act as UV level indicators that’ll tell you when it’s ok to get more sun or when you’ve had enough. They turn a darker purple as they’re exposed to more UV rays.

It’s a great way to protect against UV rays and avoid skin cancer, while at the same time giving guys like me some eye-candy. Good news for Gears of War fans. Microsoft is releasing the new Gears of War 2 Special-edition Zune on November 7th, 2008. The PMP comes pre-loaded with 244 pieces of “Gears of War” media including the soundtrack, concept art, behind-the-scenes videos, etc. It’s priced at $280, with pre-orders at Walmart.com and Amazon.com. This special edition Zune 120 also features a laser-etched “Crimson Omen” on a glossy black casing.

Just when you thought it was safe here comes yet another wacky clock. A very boxy and not swell to look at clock. This one is a lot like the Coin Lamp, in that it is a money hungry device. This Money-Saving BanClock makes you insert a coin of any value or currency before it will shut up. I think that’s called extortion. This clock/bank will hold about $25 before it needs to be emptied.

You’ll need a supply of coins by the clock so you can shut it up without punching a hole in it. What’s with these savings devices though? It used to be that people were disciplined enough to save on their own without a device encouraging them.

What could be better then some furniture inspired by an 80’s arcade character, who was himself inspired by a few slices taken from a pizza? These padded Pac-Man seats with matching power pellet foot stools are amazingly retro and they look comfy. The Poufman seating sets come in several colors.

The only thing missing are the ghosts. Better yet, I’d like to see this furniture all motorized so that the ghosts can chase you, or you them, so that you play out an actual game. Still, they’re pretty awesome standing still. The price is unknown, but you can be sure they will gobble up dollar bills like Pac-Man gobbled up coins.

The Stormtrooper hoodie is what you want to have on hand when rescuing Princesses from the Death Star. Imperial officers and Stormtroopers aren’t too bright so once you zip up the front mask part you’re good to go. They’ll probably just think the Emperor is phasing in softer armor.

It’s also available in Bobba Fett style. It’s great Halloween-ware. During the day it’s a casual geek hoodie, but come Halloween night just zip it up and get yourself some candy, no matter what your age. As long as they don’t ask to see your face, it’s all good.

Targus has launched its first line of Mac accessories, a bunch of stuff in stunning Wii white. There’s a $70 Bluetooth Laser Mouse, a $50 Wireless Mouse, and an $80 Bluetooth Presenter. Each features a touch-sensitive scroll button. On the presenter, it will switch to cursor control, while it will give you four-way scrolling on the mice.

If that’s not enough, there’s also a $50 USB file-transfer cable for direct file transfers between PCs and Macs, as well as a $30 four-port compact USB hub. Want more? How about MacBook and MacBook Pro privacy screens from $50 to $80, and a $50 dual-fan cooling pad. All can be had right now.

We’ve seen our share of useless gadgets, no question about it. They don’t get more useless then the USB volcano. I mean, they could have done something cool with this. How about a little diorama with some ancient civilization dropping a virgin or two into the thing? What about making it a real lava spewer(Okay, nothing harmful that will melt flesh) that’s also a bank, where you have to feed it coins so it doesn’t go all Krakatoa all over your desk? Or what about having a tiny remote control robot in the case with the volcano that you can send in and get readings like a real science kind of deal?

But no. No, sadly this craptastic gadget is just a volcano with plastic lava beads that erupt out of the water-filled desktop toy. And you even have to provide the water. $18 if you are actually impressed.

Nintendo has stated that it doesn’t plan to release “a whole lot more” accessories for the Wii. Most of us take that to mean that there is at least something coming, but is this that something? The images come from some European trademark registry site with very little detail, but it’s some kind of pedometer.

Personally I’m hoping that this doesn’t count as one of the accessories they had in mind. Maybe it’s just a Wii-Fit add-on. That’s what we’re hoping, because we deserve something a bit neater then a pedometer. To release this thing in place of something cooler is…Well it’s evil…And lame. It just looks like a freakin’ box.

With everything kids have going on today, it’s often easier to get them a cell phone so you can keep in touch at all times. Even young kids age five and up use cell phones today. They are a great way for parents to know where the kids are, even if they are just down the street.

The catch is that kids don’t understand that using a cell phone too much or downloading things from the Internet can run up a bill significantly. You also have to worry that they could be subject to inappropriate calls from unknown users. Firefly has had a phone specifically made for kids on the market since 2006.

I have never understood the appeal of golfing myself and have never been to a real golf course. I take my kids to play put-put on occasion and typically, my 7-year-old beats me. As close as I care to get to a real game of golf is on the Wii.

For those of you who like real golfing, a new GPS tool is now better equipped to improve your game. The gadget is called the GPS Golf Guru Color Guru and offers a color GPS screen that is 320 x 240 pixels. The device stores information on 300 courses and up to 30 features per hole.

In the world of consumer, video cards there are only two options when it comes to discrete video cards — NVIDIA and ATI. NVIDIA is the market leader in discrete video cards, but ATI is working hard to take that market share away.

ATI’s latest attempt at grabbing the gamer’s dollars is the ATI Radeon HD 4550 and HD 4350 video cards. ATI says the cards are based on the award winning 4800 series cards. The HD 4550 will retail starting from $55 and promises to play games that were unplayable at this price range before. The card features 512MB of RAM.

You might remember when we told you about the Critter Cruiser awhile back. The hamster hot rod that you park your critter in so you can give him a ride, because it’s nice to get out of the cage once in a while. Well, now it comes with the Hamtrack, so your little gerbil friend can go round and round like a furry Nascar driver who’s not afraid to poop in his car, getting exercise the whole time.

The car works both with and without the track. The car is about $36, while the car and track set will cost you about $63. Maybe you can get some sponsors for your rat races and put little stickers on the car. I’m pretty sure we here at the ‘Brick would like a piece of that action.

When it comes to our mobile devices we all want more, more features, more performance, more speed, and especially more storage. Music phones today can hold thousands of songs, but mobile users are always on the lookout for more storage space.

SanDisk announced the largest capacity microSD and M2 format memory card you can get. Both formants are now available in 16GB capacities. The cards require mobile phones and MP3 players that support microSDHC or M2 formats.
