New Olympus camera offers 20x wide angle zoom |
Another new digital camera…we know. This time around Olympus brought us word this week of the Olympus SP-570 UZ, priced at around $500. The company notes this particular model for its 20x, wide-angle optical zoom (26-520mm equivalent).
The SP-570UZ, besides the optical zoom, offers up an impressive 10-megapixels coupled with a f2.8-4.5 lens. You get a bevy of advanced features with this particular Olympus model, including a 2.7-inch LCD with anti-glare, dual image stabilization, face detection, shadow adjustment and full manual control.
This new Olympus camera will be available come March. Get the full details after the jump.

Without much fanfare Nike has let loose the new Nike Amp+ Sport Remote Control. The Amp+ wears on your wrist like a watch and actually will tell the time, but that’s the least impressive of its features.
Take a look at this design concept of a CD-playing athletic shoe. (We had considered titling this post “BoomShoe” but then thought again.) It comes with everything you need to play CD’s built-in, including a compact disc player, speaker, tweeters and a small knob for volume. It even has some controls for play, stop, forward and back embedded into the side.
