You might expect the second Android cellphone to come from Motorola or Nokia, but according to John Biggs over at Crunchgear, it’s the Zzzphone, a full-QWERTY keyboard Chinese slider which apparently runs the Android operating system. It’s tauted as the world’s first unlocked quad-band mobile featuring the Google Android Operating System.

It seems to do everything you could ever want it to do as well. It works everywhere in the world and can be built and personalized per your custom requirements with GPS, Wi-Fi, even your choice of seven colors for cases, and 15 other options. Up to 32GB of memory, they are also claiming to be the world’s first phone with snap on modular accessories, like a full QWERTY keyboard, mini boom box, projector and more. Damn. John says that he has ordered one and it should be arriving in ten days. It’s only $119.

Mac computers are gaining popularity all of the time. it hasn’t been too long since Apple announced the newly updated aluminum clad MacBook and MacBook Pro computers. If you dropped the coin needed to grab yourself one of these sexy new notebooks, you probably want to be sure it stays scratch free and protect it from drops.

Speck offers up a new case for the aluminum 13-inch MacBook and 15-inch MacBook Pro that uses a hard shell design for extra protection. The case uses what Speck calls a soft touch See Thru Sating design. The exterior of the case is translucent allowing you to see the Apple logo and some of the case though the protective covering.

When it comes to the perfect case for a new gaming rig you are building, most enthusiasts don’t go with whatever the cheapest enclosure available is. The enthusiast wants something that has good looks and great thermal performance. A good case may cost more, but in the long run the tradeoff is well worth it to most of us.

One of the best computer cases around is the Cooler Master Cosmos, I actually use one for my gaming rig and I love it. Cooler Master has teased a new and very limited edition version of the Cosmos called the Cosmos Black. Details on the case and the bundle of goodies it includes are scant, but Cooler Master says that it will reveal all on December 11.

This is what an iPod Touch Nano might look like should Apple release one. It’s designed by Isamu Sanada and the iPod Touch Nano features a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual dock connectors, and would come in a variety of colorful cases. Probably the coolest thing about the design is the removable game controller for when the accelerometer and touchscreen aren’t enough. Maybe it’s just me, but this is probably the one feature that the iPod Touch could use in the real world. Pretty sweet design.

LG announced two new premium desktop models that will be released under LG’s XPION brand. The specs that we have so far don’t seem to details so far don’t seem to match the “premium” claim, but maybe we will get more specs soon. One thing is for sure, those sleek cases are sexy as hell.

The XPION R20 features a 2 Core Quad Q8200 processor, with 3GB of RAM and a GeForce 9500GS graphics card. You’ll also get a new cooling system based on Multi Direction Platform Cooling (MDPC), which means it will be pretty quiet. The XPION S20 runs on a 2 Core Quad Q9400 and a GeForce 9600GT graphics card. Details on this one are slim indeed, but it should translate to a wider desktop with better performance then the XPION R20. At least we hope so. Sexy cases aside, we want more info.

Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome has released something new and amazingly awesome in the “Moon Dust-DNA” collection. It’s a collection of 1969 timepieces that includes watches made from such things as moon dust, parts of the Apollo 11 rocket and even pieces actual spacesuits. Why 1969 timepieces? That was the year of the first moon landing.

The dials feature tiny craters with dust in them from moon rocks, the cases include bits of steel from the Apollo 11 space shuttle and the strap gets the same treatment, containing fibers from a spacesuit worn during the ISS mission. So if you want to get yourself several pieces of things that have actually been in space, this is a good way to do it. Pricing for the Moon Dust-DNA watches is also out of this world, starting at $15,000 and goes as high as $500,000.

Super Talent is back with a new range of USB flash drives that feature 64GB of storage space, the highest capacity in the industry. So far. According to some recently discovered fine print in the Android Market terms of service, it appears Apple is not the only one implementing a remote kill switch for applications on their phone. In this case however Google has openly stated that they may “discover a product that violates the developer distribution agreement”, and in such cases they reserve the right to “…remotely remove those applications from your device at its sole discretion”.

This all comes after somewhat of an uproar when a developer happened upon a feature that allows Apple to remotely remove applications from the iPhone. This type of remote kill feature is meant to help with security and privacy in the event that some malicious application finds its way onto your mobile device, but many find it a little intrusive since it certainly does not give you free reign to run whatever applications you would like on your Google phone with Android.

Aluratek announced the other day it has a new USB flash drive like device which acts as a portable Internet radio of sorts. It is called the Internet Radio Jukebox and you’ll find it pricing around $40.

The Aluratek Internet Radio Jukebox is designed to let you have a plug-n-play experience in which you have a user interface providing access to over 13,000 Internet radio stations. This Internet Explorer interface pops up after you plug the Jukebox into a USB port, letting you search for audio programming via the top ten channels by region, by genre, by specific artists, or by songs, as well as a host of other custom search criteria.

Etsy seller NES Box didn’t like the fugly exterior of their external hard drive, and so did something about it. That something was to drop it in an old NES cartridge case. The cartridge was just the right size, allowing the drive to fit in perfectly.

It’s powered by USB, so you won’t need any external juice. Created by them, it’s a one of a kind item.(Until someone else makes one) So it will cost you $180 if you want one. The only problem with putting things in old NES cases is that it might get lost among your other cartridges if you aren’t careful. Or your friend might borrow it instead of an actual game.

Buffalo Technology says it is set to release the world’s thinnest external hard drive (currently, that is). The anorexic looking Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi can be yours to fatten with files for around $120 for the 30GB (HD-PT30U2) and $170 for the 60GB (HD-PT60U2).

The Buffalo MiniStation Shinobi models are 5mm (.2 inches) thick and weigh around just two ounces. This makes them pretty very compact and portable, of course, and the fact it is USB-powered just adds to that on-the-go image.

Printers can go either way. I’ve found that they are generally terrible due to high expectations, or in some cases they actually live up to the hype. I can tell you straight away, the Epson WorkForce 600 All-in-One Printer lives up to and even exceeds the hype. First, it looks great and it’s not much bigger then your standard printer, so you don’t need a lot of extra desk real estate. That’s a good thing for anybody, but being designed for small and home businesses, it’s a huge plus to have a work horse that looks good and goes just about anywhere. Some of the features on the 600 include WiFi capabilities, laser quality printing, fast printing speeds, built-in memory card reader, and a super handy LCD to preview your pictures and operate the whole thing effortlessly.

Right out of the box you get an ethernet cable, power cable, driver/software disc, user manuals, even sample paper, a small bit of phone cable and the necessary printer cartridges. No USB cable, which is common and with the Wi-Fi capabilities you really don’t need one.

The onslaught of iPhone 3G cases continues with several recently announced offerings from iPod accessories maker iFrogz. These new cases are the Wrapz, Treadz and Luxe. The first two price around $15, while the Luxe is around $20.

All three cases are available now in a variety of colors. iFrogz says the basic design of the Wrapz case offers 100 percent silicone encasement, while the Treadz case offers an “extra-thick” silicone casing and a tire tread design. We told you the other day about how Kevin Rose had some “news” that a new iPod nano is coming. A slimmer longer sexier device. Not exactly hard evidence, but there are some new developments.

These two case-related designs are supposedly destined for Apple’s next PMP. News is that Chinese accessory-maker Beelan has a silicon sleeve ready to ship through Alibaba, and iDealsChina has renders of the 4th gen nano as well as another case from an unknown Canadian company. Neither design can be confirmed what with the fact that they appeared on the heels of the Rose rumor, but who knows. What do you think?
