We love video games around here. Whether we’re playing the Xbox 360, the PS3 or even an old Atari 2600. We thought we would take a look at the history of gaming consoles from 1972 to the present. You grew up with the vintage consoles, you play the new ones, so take a walk down memory lane and revisit all your favorites from the massive list below.

Remember having fun at the amusement park when you were a kid and riding around in the bumper cars? Apparently, it’s a whole big thing to modify bumper cars so they’re street legal. Awesome idea, but would I be able to fight the urge to bump and shove others? Probably not.

They use a Kawasaki 750cc motorcycle engine for power, which allows them to reach sidestreet speeds. For some ungodly and unexplainable reason, they cost $50,000 to modify them so they’re street legal! That is bizarre. How is that possible when there is so little car involved?

These little bumper cars come as a set of two, one red and one blue, each with their own wireless remote control. The controllers let you drive them forward, back, left or right similar to real bumper cars with the goal of bumping your opponent. Each mouse-like bumper car has sensors on each side on on the back that tally up your hits along with headlight “eyes” and noises when you get bumped. After three hits your car freezes indicating that you lost the match. The cars measure a little over 4 inches long and from the product page video they seem to move pretty quick. The set goes for $40 before you add in the cost of the required 10 AAA batteries.
