What better way to open a beer than by using the force. Or at least a lightsaber. Well, now you can do just that with this lightsaber bottle opener from Thinkgeek. It’s how all of the Jedis open their beverages.

This bottle opener is around 5.5 inches long and has been modeled on Luke’s Lightsaber from Return of the Jedi. It is also an officially licensed Star Wars product. That means that you are funding one of George Lucas’ many remixes of the films.

Cap Storing Bottle Opener keeps caps off your floor

Opening a beer or ten usually results in caps being all over the place. This is mostly due to laziness and drunkenness. Well, the new Cap Storing Bottle Opener will solve this problem. It stores your bottle caps leaving no mess on your floors and counters. The opener sits on a bottle, which is also your handle. When you pry the cap off your drink, the cap falls down into the handle.

Not sure how many it can hold but at least it helps you keep things cleaner. We’re not sure if this will actually come to market or not, but it’s a great idea.

Beer Keg PC Case Mod

This guy is doing it all wrong. We aren’t that impressed when someone takes a beer keg and turns it into a PC case. What this world really needs is the technology to turn old PC cases into full beer kegs. That would help the environment and give us more beer. More beer is always good.

But having said that, Ben Lzicar has turned an empty Anheuser-Busch keg into a PC case and it’s pretty cool. He powder-coated the keg with a beautiful shiny black finish, decked it out with chrome, and loaded it with bright blue LEDs. Of course, there is also a bottle opener.

I am more of an indoors type. I’m not really into camping and while I do go outside with the kids a lot, we don’t stray too far from an outlet. However, a while back when a hurricane came through the power was out for hours and I would have paid dearly for a gadget like the Eton Scorpion.

The device is a power generator for USB charging gadgets that has both a solar panel and a hand crank to generate charging power. The gadget also has a number of other features inside.

On the weekend, when sitting in a comfy chair in our man-caves, men require two things and only two things. A remote and a bottle opener. When you put the two together, you get a tool of pure awesomeness.

The Clicker adds a bottle opener to the side of a universal remote, so you can open your brew and continue to channel surf. However this won’t help you if you drink canned beer. Too bad for you guys. I’ll be kicking back and relaxing.
