Posted in Activision by Shane McGlaun on May 18th, 2009

transformersfallen-sbI went to see Star Trek on opening weekend and out of the 600 trailers that ran before the movie started, one of the coolest was for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The movie looks pretty good and today anytime we hear of a new movie that can possibly support a video game tie in, we know it’s coming.

Activision has announced that the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen game to go along with the film is under development and will use voice talent from the films leading starts including Shai “I really (really) love my momma” LeBeouf and Megan “Miss Hotness” Fox.

Pinel Pinel Movie Trunk portable home theaterThis may not be the most portable home theater ever, but it conveniently keeps all of your devices in one spot so they can be stored away out of sight. The Pinel Pinel Movie Trunk boasts a Bang & Olufsen Beolab 6000 subwoofer, Two Beolab 3 speakers, BeoVision 6-26 TV and a DVD1 DVD/CD player.

You can choose from 51 flavors of different leathers, all with nickel plated brass hardware, and you even have three drawers for you to store your DVDs. Up to four dozen DVDs. No word on price yet, but I think most of us love the idea, but would want a larger TV at the expense of portability.

Beo 5 Remote control from Bang & OlfusenBang and Olufsen puts out some of the coolest, different looking (and most expensive) stuff; take this Beo 5 Remote Control for example. Like a number of B&O’s things, this looks like no other remote control we’ve seen. Combining control of your A/V system along with a little home automation the remote control is said to be simple and very functional.

It’s built with a square glass display on top that shows dynamic menus and has “soft touch” on the screen. The bottom consists of an aluminum ball shape with a flat back and tactile keys on the front along with a circular scrolling volume wheel. The Beo 5 sits in a cradle when not in use to charge, and lights up whenever touched, ready for use.
