ViewSonic reveals 24-inch V3D245 3D monitor

Haven’t gone 3D yet. You are far from the only one. But if you want to get your 3D on, ViewSonic is offering this 24-inch V3D245 monitor. It features a 1080p LED-backlit panel, an NVIDIA 3D Vision wireless emitter and a pair of 3D Vision glasses.

Other features include a 120Hz refresh rate, two millisecond response time, HDMI 1.4 socket and 300 nits of brightness. There’s also a three-year limited warranty. It will cost you $499 later this month.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M display with 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution and IPS

It’s not everyday you see a 1920 x 1200-pixel IPS panel for your desk. Dell is offering just that with their new UltraSharp U2412M. It has over 2.3 million pixels with its 24-inch LED-backlit display and features in-plane switching (IPS) with a wide viewing angle, a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, DisplayPort and DVI connectivity.

There’s also a built-in USB hub, and height adjustability. Must be ultra expensive right? Not really. It retails for $399. Not bad at all for that price huh?

2011 MacBook Air Announced

Apple has announced the new 2011 MacBook Air, which will come with the latest version of Apple’s OS, OS X Lion. There is an 11 inch MacBook Air and a 13 inch MacBook Air available and both feature Intel’s Thunderbolt technology. The 11 inch model comes with either a 1GHz dual core Intel Core i5 processor or a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Core i7 processor. Your choice. All models now have a backlit keyboard as well.

The base model has a 64GBSSD and the top model a 128GB SSD that can be upgraded to a 256GB SSD. Other specs include 2GB of DDR3 RAM, which can be upgraded to 4GB, Intel HD Graphics 3,000, a FaceTime camera, two USB 2.0 ports, a Thunderbolt port, WiFi, Bluetooth and a pair of stereo speakers.

Acer reveals Aspire 5755 multimedia laptop

Acer’s latest laptop, the Aspire 5755, is for multimedia lovers who are on the go. It features Intel Core chips (with the i7-2820QM available in the premium configurations), and Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics with Nvidia’s Optimus tech.

Other features include 8GB of DDR3 memory, as much as 1TB of storage, and a 15.6 inch Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD screen with a maximum resolution of 1366×768. There’s also built Intel Wireless Display (WiDi) tech and an HDMI-output option.

Samsung S27A950D 27-Inch 3D LCD Monitor

Samsung has just released a stylish new 3D LCD monitor, the S27A950D, for the European market. This 27 inch monitor features a 120Hz panel, it is LED-backlit and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, and a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

Other features include 300 cd/m2 brightness, a 2ms response time, and comes with a pair of active 3D glasses. There’s also a built-in IR emitter for synching with the 3D glasses, dual-DVI, HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectors. The S27A950D is available for pre-order in Europe for about $812.

Other features include backlit keys for typing in low light(Great for movies), even an integrated LED flashlight. The rechargeable Li-Polymer battery will give you up to 30 days of operation time. No info on pricing yet though.

ASUS G74 gaming laptop available for pre-order

The ASUS G74 comes in two configurations, which both include a quad-core Core i7-2630QM CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M graphics with 3GB of video memory, 12GB DDR3 RAM (out of 16GB), dual 750GB 7200RPM drives, a 1080p display, Blu-ray player, backlit keyboard, and a USB 3.0. socket (along with three 2.0).

The G74SX-A1 is $1,745. There’s also a $1,979 version with a 3D display, called the G74SX-3DE. You can pre-order them now.

NEC Thin and Green 23-inch MultiSync EX231Wp Display

NEC has added a new LCD to its line up called the MultiSync EX231Wp. It’s for the desktop, offering 23-inches of space in a thin and light package. It will save you alot of desk space, that’s for sure.

It’s LED backlit to save power and has full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. It consumes 27W of power when in use and has DisplayPort and DVI inputs, a USB port and a fully adjustable stand with 110mm of height adjust, tilt, swivel, and pivot. The EX231Wp ships in July for $319.

Razer Star Wars: The Old Republic Gaming Keyboard

The Star Wars: The Old Republic gaming keyboard by Razer has some stylish looks as well as a Star Wars theme. It features a full-color highly sensitive multitouch LCD panel and ten adaptive tactile keys, giving you more room for easily accessible skills, hotkeys, and macros.

It also has an adjustable multi-color LED, 1000Hz Ultrapolling/1ms response time, a USB cable and gold backlit keys with slim key caps for faster actuation and shorter travel distance. Expect to drop $199.99 on it.

Acer Aspire Ethos laptops with detachable touchpads

Acer has announced two Aspire Ethos laptops for the multimedia enthusiast and they include detachable touchpads that can also act as remotes. The Aspire Ethos series laptops will be available later this month starting at £999, with two different sizes to choose from. There’s the standard 15.6in model and a 18.4in version.

The screens are Cinecrystal LED backlit units that are full HD 1920×1080 resolution on the 18.4in model and 1366×768 on the smaller 15.6in model. They come pre-loaded with Windows 7 64-bit versions of either Home Premium or Ultimate.

ViewSonic ViewBook 730 tablet

ViewSonic is getting ready to release the ViewSonic ViewBook 730. The 7″ tablet will retail for just $249 and for that low price you get 1080p video playback thanks to an HDMI connection, and video chatting and conference calling via its front VGA camera. That price is nice and affordable.

The ViewBook 730 will also feature Amazon Appstore integration. Other specs include a high-resolution 800 x 480 LED backlit display, a stylus, RiteTouch technology, an ARM Cortex-A8 1Ghz processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You can’t argue with all you get for that price. But what about battery life? That will be the deciding factor.

Gigabyte M2432 Notebook and Docking Station Unveiled at Computex

At Computex 2011 Gigabyte has announced a new notebook computer with a neat docking station called the Booktop M2432. The machine packs in an Intel Core i5 processor, USB 3.0 ports, THX TruStudio Pro, and more.

The screen is a 14-inch LED backlit unit with 1366 x 768 resolution. Other features include Intel HD 3000 graphics onboard, support for HD movies and more. The machine weighs 1.81 kg and is 27.6 mm thick.

Philips Brilliance 273P3L 27-Inch Full HD Monitor

Philips has just unveiled another Full HD monitor with the introduction of the Brilliance 273P3L. Using PowerSensor technology, this new 27-inch LED-backlit monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 395 cd/m2 brightness and a 2ms response time.

As far as connectivity ports for your other stuff, you are covered. It has three USB 2.0, D-Sub, DVI as well as HDMI. The Brilliance 273P3L will be available soon for about 390 Euro (or about $550).

HP x2301 Ultra-thin LCD Monitor

We are used to our monitors being pretty thin these days, but not this thin. HP has introduced an ultra-thin LCD monitor that measures just 9.8mm thick. It weighs 7.7Lbs and the HP x2301 features a 1980×1080 (1080p) resolution with a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 3ms GtG response time, and BrightView technology.

The x2301 is also mercury- and arsenic-free with Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Silver certifications. That means it is also great for the environment. This LCD display can also display 72% of the color gamut. Other features include DVI, HDMI and VGA ports. The HP x2301 is available on June 10, 2011 for $279.99.

Nuu MiniKey iPhone 4 Slide Out Keyboard Case Now Available
