Aluratek Internet Radio ClockIf you happen to live in an area that doesn’t have a radio station that caters to your musical taste, your only real options are MP3s, CDs or Internet radio. CDs are too old school for the geeky among us, MP3s are cool but can get expensive if you’re not into messing with RIAA so Internet radio looks like a good option.

The catch is that your boring clock radio probably only wakes you up to an annoying beep or FM radio. While a country song might get you out of bed quickly, wouldn’t it be nicer to wake to your favorite music genre? Aluratek has a new clock radio that can wake you to FM, MP3, a beep or Internet radio stations.

Cat clock wakes you with big eyes, glowing head
Cat owners are probably used to waking up in the dead of night to a pair of large cat eyes staring at them evilly. It keeps you on your toes and makes you wonder when he will make his move, so it’s best to sleep with one eye open. For the rest of us, there’s this creepy Led/Lcd cat clock with large eyes and glowing head.

It displays the time in it’s oversized glowing alien eyes from a multi-colored glowing skull, hypnotizing you just before you wake up. Then when you open your eyes, it plants various suggestions in your mind via the annoying beeping sound. It was spotted on ebay for $18. I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure this is an alien signaling device. Probably prepares you for your eventual abduction.

Device disables your ride if you don’t make car payments
I hear ya. The guys that made this device are only about a step above the cockroaches called Repomen. Still, banks have to protect their investment. This device will make it easier. A company called Sekurus has developed a device called the On Time which will force a new car owner to make their scheduled payments or run the risk of the vehicle not starting. The devices cost about $250 and are installed by car dealerships or finance companies, all because of your crappy credit histories.

When a payment on the vehicle is about due, an LED light on the box will blink. On the deadline day it will make an annoying beeping noise too. The idea is to annoy the hell out of you so you pay. It’s kinda like a loan-shark that way. If the owner makes the payment, the lender will give them a six-digit code that will disable the alerts. If they fail to make that payment, the vehicle just won’t start. And if they continue to avoid paying up, they’ll soon get a visit from the repo man.

Annoy-a-Tron Beeping If you’re into electronic gadgets, practical jokes and for some reason still don’t think you’re already annoying enough, getting this Annoy-A-Tron would probably put you over the top.

My boss had something in his office that would periodically emit a tiny beep and it drove him crazy for weeks trying to figure out what it was. I’m not sure what the source ended up being, but it was proof enough for me that this gadget would do the trick.

The Annoy-A-Tron runs on a small watch battery, is slightly larger than a quarter and emits a …
