Most adults don’t really carry lunchboxes, but as lunchboxes get cooler, you will see more of them packing a lunch since we are all geeks at heart. This R2-D2 lunch kit is pretty cool. Adults and kids alike will want to carry this one around.

It’s only $14.99 and measures 5¾” W x 5½” D x 11¼” H and even has integrated sounds and LED light effects. That beats the Lunchbox I had as a kid. The noise that this one makes will likely get your kid in trouble.

Sony hasn’t offered any pricing yet on the upcoming NGP portable gaming console, but we do know that it won’t be cheap. There will be two versions, one with 3G and the other with WiFi only. A new survey is being circulated by a research firm called Toluna, which is sponsored by Ubisoft and was called Ubisoft – NGP concept – EU Adults.

The survey asked if buyers would buy the NGP portable and then listed prices for the 3G and for the WiFi only versions. We have no idea if the prices listed are accurate or not. According to the survey the 3G NGP would retail for $350 and the WiFi only would be $250.

There are many cases for the iPad, but none can suspend them in mid-air over your crib bed. Well, some designers have come up with the Hanfree, a stand that will let you use your iPad even if your hands are full.

It keeps the iPad suspended in mid-air and allows you to use it for many different purposes. It isn’t just for reading or watching in bed, you can read instructions while cooking for instance. The Hanfree works with both the original iPad and the iPad 2. The creators are still looking for funds through Kickstarter. If you pre-order the stand you can get it for just $50, but when it goes on sale, the price will be $80.

If you somehow thought that the last Transformers movie was good, then you’ll no doubt want to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon this summer. You’ll also likely want to add $10 to the cost of each ticket, since Hasbro is offering these Transformers Cine-Mask 3D glasses.

They will be selling these in stores before the movie’s release and they are available in Optimus Prime and Bumblebee versions. The masks each have a standard set of RealD 3D glasses, which makes them suitable for most theaters out there and other 3D movies. Sadly there’s no adult sizes available.

All of the adults have tablets, so obviously kids are going to want one for themselves. VTech is here to help, with the InnoPad. The full catalog of Playboy, from the first issue in 1953 to its latest, is coming to the iPad in March. And it will be uncensored. That comes straight from Hef himself. It doesn’t make a lot of sense when you consider Apple’s App Store rulings and Steve Jobs’ comments on keeping adult material off of mobile devices, but whatever.

It will be interesting to see how they do this and how it shapes what else is allowed on the iPad.

Samsung is making quite the fashion statement, together with glasses maker, Silhouette, with their new world’s lightest 3D designer shutter glasses. They weigh just 28g, 10g lighter than regular 3D glasses and they have been ergonomically developed so that one size fits all. The glasses can be easily adjusted allowing an adult or child to wear them. Of course they will make their debut at this year’s CES.

Some other features include auto on/off support, wireless charging and you can attach to your normal glasses.

dB Logic’s SPL2 headphones are designed for healthy listening so they won’t damage your ears. The company was kind enough to provide us with a review unit so we could hear how they sound. These are no-battery-required ultra-low distortion sound pressure level headphones and earphones, which include models for adults and kids.

The SPL2 lowers the volume while still keeping the shape of the sound wave curve. The headphones regulate the volume when it is needed, while still keeping the “musical content largely unchanged”. How do they sound? Read on.

We’ve seen magazine companies bundle content with hard drive purchases in the past. Remember the National Geographic external hard drive? Well now we have a bundle that’s a little more adult oriented.

The Playboy $300 250GB hard drive contains every single issue of the magazine dating back to 1953. That’s a lot of boobs and airbrushing for sure. $300 is expensive for a hard drive, sure, but you’re really paying for the boobs.

If you’re a Twitter user, the site has been exposed to a serious JavaScript exploit. The JavaScript onMouseOver exploit happens when you hover your mouse over a tweet. It will then redirect your browser to a website that contains malicious code, or adult websites. Apparently it also creates messages that you didn’t write.

The flaw currently only affects twitter.com, so if you’re tweeting using third party programs, you’re fine. Twitter has been working on a fix and apparently it has just been patched.

When it comes to rear seat entertainment there are a lot of vehicles on the road that have TVs and movie players for kids and adults to watch on longer trips. Watching DVDs can be a bit boring after a while though and in most cars, you are out of luck.

BMW has unveiled at the Paris Motor Show new factory iPad docks for the rear seat passengers. The dock is very nice looking and integrated well into the design of the car. Some aftermarket docks just don’t look good.

When it comes to geeky toys that we liked when we were kids and many adults still play with today, building sets are right up there. I would wager a number of geeks play with Lego to this day and on occasion, we see an awesome Lego sculpture turn up. A new and suitably geeky building system called nanodots has now surfaced.

Nanodots are tiny little magnets that are round and look like BB’s. You can take the little nanodots and use them to build all sorts of shapes and other items with angles, flat surfaces and more. The magnets are powerful enough to keep their shape even with complex designs needing thousands of the little things.

If you have been to the movie theater to see a 3D film recently you have probably watched with RealD 3D tech. The glasses that you get in a RealD theater all look like they were designed in the 80′s and are very flat and can be uncomfortable.

Polaroid Eyewear and RealD have announced that Polaroid will be producing a new line of 3D glasses that will work with RealD 3D technology in theaters around the world. The glasses that Polaroid is making are a more modern wrap around style that look better and might be more comfortable.

Too bad they didn’t have this lunch box when I was a kid. It is of course, our favorite droid R2-D2. Not only does it look like R2, but it’s shaped like him as well.

Sadly this one doesn’t exist just yet. At the moment, it’s just a design. Hopefully they bring this into the real world soon. I would use it even today as an adult. It’s just plain awesome. Any droid that holds snacks is good with me.

Dodgeball – never was a word uttered by a middle school coach that thrilled some and terrified others at the same time. This is the game coaches use to weed out the weak as they sat around laughing while the kids that throw really hard aim for the testicles of the fat slow kid.

I thought once adulthood came around dodgeball was something you didn’t play again, but Samsung has proven that wrong by holding a massive game and setting a Guinness World Record to celebrate the Verizon launch of the Reality mobile phone. The record breaking game had 712 players and 600 balls.
