Joby has had its line of articulating gadgets on the market for a long time now. These tripods have flexible legs that you can bend to hold onto things like bicycle bars and strollers. The head of the Gorillapods support various devices with versions for smartphones, big cameras, and even flashlights.

Joby has unveiled its latest Gorillapod called the Gorillapod Video. The Video is designed to hold light cameras and camcorders like the Flip HD. The Gorillapod Video has a metal arm on the back for panning and has 360-degree pan and 135-degree tilt. The aluminum head is omnidirectional and the legs have magnetic feet.

So you need to make a choice between holding your infant and holding your phone, but it’s not socially acceptable to let your kid crawl around on the sidewalk while you answer texts. The $25.99 TextHook Stroller Smartphone Holder is the answer.

It allows you to wheel your baby around in a stroller, while your smartphone remains right in front of you at all times, just waiting for a thief to come by and rip it right off.

It’s been the same for as long as I can remember. Moms have been forced to push their little ones everywhere. Isn’t it enough that they pushed the kid out in the first place? Moms need a break. So it’s fitting that on Mother’s day we show you the Taga stroller/trike.

On a practical note, it’s powered by a rechargeable generator. It gets more power with every 300 feet of movement. It’s also environmentally friendly, with the plastic being from 90% of recycled materials. It will cost you $650 and a very cranky baby if things go wrong.

Forget the fact that this thing looks like it’s designed to comfortably seat your helpless child and then snap it’s jaws shut while it digests your little tot, it’s actually designed with the safety of your child in mind. Designer, Aldo Barreto, a student from Ontario Canada, designed this modern baby car seat for a competition held by Samsonite.

He wanted to design a child transportation vessel that is more convenient. The ‘Tot Pod’ has a built-in child restraint system, carrying handle and even a storage compartment in the back, and drop down wheels to convert it from a car seat to a stroller. When not in use, it’s just an ominous looking clam shell.

We’ve seen some pretty weird bikes that want to keep the family traveling together, ever since the price of gas has gone crazy. The crazy Electric Bike Train comes to mind.

Well, here’s another idea. The Zigo bike has apparently taken dad from the equation all together, opting to put mom either behind or on the thing, while the kid or kids are in the danger zone up front known as the ChildPod. The ChildPod can be removed and transformed into a stroller lightning quick, and the Zigo can be used as a standard 2-wheeled bicycle once you attach the front wheel. It’s $995 worth of parts swapping with kids in tow.

Have you been out on the streets? Have you seen what the hell is going on? It’s like the 1950′s all over again. Damn kids with their souped up Hot Rods. But now the kids with their Hot Rods are like a year old! And with their moms! I’ve seen em on the sidewalk at intersections, on opposite sides of street, the mothers eyeing eachother just before they put the stroller to the concrete and race.

I’ve also seen random mommies running into one another on the same sidewalk, eyeing each other up as a third mommie(Usually a milf) happens by, and then the milf stands between the strollers and waves a scarf to start their little drag race. It usually ends with a stroller in flames and a cop car, as the other mothers flee.
