The latest in the ongoing saga of the white iPhone 4 is that it is thicker than the black model. The image above demonstrates the point. That’s just the latest problem in addition to shipping ten months late. But the size issue may create a problem for owners as well as case makers.

For instance, the Incase slider which fits a black iPhone 4 has to be forced into place on this model. So will your case fit or won’t it? We can only guess that it is thicker do to added UV protection among other things tweaked. Good luck with your current case and we hope it fits.

This Wow-Keys keyboard has to be one of the coolest keyboards that we have seen yet. After rumors in March about the LG Optimus Big smartphone, LG has just officially introduced the new phone in South Korea. It also appeared in a photo alongside an Apple iPhone, which showed off its “big” status, so the LG Optimus Big has been confirmed as real, with the name LU6800.

Features include a dual-core 1GHz processor, 4.3 inch WVGA display, 5-megapixel autofocus camera, and Android 2.2 OS, which is likely upgradable to Gingerbread. No word yet on if we can expect this device in the US yet.

Looks like some White iPhone 4s are already hitting retailers around the world. And it is about time. That’s what the photo suggests. Belgian retailer, Van Roey, says that it has also received its first shipment, as shown above. The company says it is starting to sell them, although shipments are limited to addresses in the Benelux area for now. Lucky buggers.

So it would seem that white iPhone 4s are pretty much guaranteed for an official launch on April 27th, just like we had heard. This photo comes from MIC Gadget and they claim that it could represent the “iPhone 4S”. The image shows a white iPhone 4, or what looks like an iPhone 4, but with a larger display. It could be just a mockup, but at any rate it clearly has a larger display and edge-to-edge glass.

They didn’t say how they got the image either so we have no way to say if this is genuine or not, however it seems like this is a move that Apple would make with the next iPhone. It also closely resembles some leaked renders and images that surfaced earlier in the year. Stay tuned on this one.

It sure helps to have friends in high places. Just ask Verizon who made friends with Apple and then went on to activate 2.2 million iPhones in the first quarter of 2011, the first in which it offered Apple’s phone.

AT&T on the other hand, which had previously had an exclusive on the iPhone in the U.S., activated 3.6 million iPhones during Q1. Remember, Verizon only started selling the phone in February, so their total only spans two months of availability. Verizon must be feeling pretty good right now.

Amazon had already entered the UK’s e-book market last year and now the company has it’s sights set on Germany as it has now launched the German Kindle Store, with more than 650,000 titles. With the launch, the German Kindle Store instantly becomes Germany’s biggest e-bookstore.

It has about 25,000 German-language titles, thousands of free classics, and a large collection of independent newspapers and magazines. Customers also have the ability to buy the latest Kindle and Kindle 3G models directly from Amazon.de, along with free, German Kindle apps for iPhone, iPad, PC and Android.
