Oh The Humanity: Hello Kitty Xbox 360

Posted in Xbox 360 by Conner Flynn on February 11th, 2009

Oh The Humanity: Hello Kitty Xbox 360Modding your Xbox 360 with a little paint is nothing new. The results are often unique and every bit as good as fancy high priced art as far as I’m concerned. Whether you choose Sonic the Hedgehog or a cool Domo-kun paint job, it’s all good.

However, I nearly lost my damn lunch when I saw this Hello Kitty Xbox 360. For the love of all that is holy, why? Just why? Only DeviantART user Ricepuppet knows for sure as they decorated this Xbox 360 in shades of pink as the gaming community collectively vomits a little in their mouths.

Hello Kitty strikes again with HK Flip Mino

Posted in Camcorders by Conner Flynn on December 15th, 2008

Hello Kitty strikes again with HK Flip MinoHas anyone cross-referenced the prophecies of Nostradamus with Hello Kitty? Because I’m pretty sure she’s the Anti-Christ. Anyhow, the kitty is back thanks to Pure Digital Technologies’ Flip Video lineup getting all Hello Kitty-fied with the Mino and MinoHD. Like their un-kitti-fied cousins, the camcorders sport one-touch video recording, a built-in USB port, and can record 60 minutes of video with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Most importantly for those willing to worship at the kitty altar, the camcorders come in eleven different Hello Kitty designs. Apparently, the price will be $179.99 for Mino and $229.99 for MinoHD, which is the same price as without the kitty graphics.

Motorola concept phone has a masculine Hello Kitty formThis concept Motorola handset likes like a kick-ass robot Hello Kitty demon that has arisen from the ashes of it’s own hell-fire. It’s here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. It’s all out of bubble gum.

Take this Hello Kitty fans. This thing will kick your thing’s ass. It will eat Hello Kitty, poop her out and repeat the process all over again. It features a very limited button selection, camera, color screen, and hiding feature. It’s the “Cute Phone!”. I don’t know about that, but it’s pretty damn freaky. And I hope to God it can help rid our world of Hello Kitty. Pray with me.

Hello Kitty Roomba

Posted in Roomba by Conner Flynn on September 17th, 2008

Hello Kitty RoombaFor those who hate Hello Kitty, you’ll be happy to know that she has lost her DJ gig and now has a janitorial position cleaning the filth off your floors. Why in the hell we need yet another Hello Kitty item is beyond me, but if we must, at least she can get her paws dirty.

iRobot and Sanrio must have had a few drinks and a bright idea about how to open up to a new demographic. We can be thankful of two things: Only 500 units are made and it’s only available in Japan. It will cost roughly $810. Sadly, too expensive to buy on impulse and let it play in the road.

Hello Kitty iPod DJ speaker

Posted in Hello Kitty by Conner Flynn on September 4th, 2008

Hello Kitty iPod DJ speakerHere’s the latest in Hello Kitty novelty items. The Hello Kitty iPod DJ speaker. As you can see Hello Kitty is DJing away behind the bullet-proof glass like the Pope in his Pope-mobile. That’s because she has had several attempts on her feline life. There was that shooter behind the grassy knoll, and in the book-depository, then there was that time that I was brain-washed to take her out and shot up a bunch of cat products with a semi-automatic. I claimed I was just a patsy. Looks like she’s protected now. This one is from Japan, of course. A Hello Kitty speaker that connects to your iPod or other audio device. Comes in pink or black and requires 1 AA battery. $24.99.

Casio Hello Kitty branded Exilim 8.1 MP digital camera

Posted in Hello Kitty by Conner Flynn on August 27th, 2008

Casio Hello Kitty Branded Exilim 8.1 MP digital cameraOkay, I’m worn out warning the world of the impending Hello Kitty Judgment day. I’m going to just accept this pink branded camera and relax. Would I like to rid the world of a trillion pink gadgets with a cat head? Sure. But I’m one guy. I can’t stop the Kitty on my own. Even that time I traveled into the past as if looking for John Connor, but really trying to prevent the sale of the first pink product, didn’t help at all. I’m just gonna face it. This is another Kitty item from hell. There will be more where this came from too. I’m okay with it. Really.

It helps that this Hello Kitty version of the Casio Exilim line of digital cameras is a pretty decent camera, with 8.1 megapixels and 3x optical zoom, 2.6 in LCD. Oh, and it costs about twice as much as the non-HK branded version of the Exilim at $538.70. Damn! See, that just gets me going again. It must be stopped. Soon little girls everywhere will kill me, by beating me senseless with their pink devices, but I must prevent this apocalyptic future.

The innocent, unsuspecting men… Must all things lead to Pink Upchuck heaven? I think the main problem I have with it is that in about 2000 years, no one is gonna know who the hell Hello Kitty is, but they will be digging this stuff up and thinking we worship a pink feline goddess. Hmmm. I guess you kind of do, which is why I’m writing this. Okay, forget I said anything. I’ll try to tell you about your new TV without gagging.
