Throughout its live streaming trials Google data showed that during the Indian Premier League live cricket coverage, users spent on average around 40 minutes watching each game. Play Basketball with your popcorn bowl

Posted in Home by Conner Flynn on August 3rd, 2009

Play Basketball with your popcorn bowlLike popcorn? What about Basketball? At last you can combine both and play with your food. Your popcorn may not dribble down the court, make passes or block, but each kernel can get nothing but net as you launch it on it’s way.

It’s a six-quart bowl that features a kernel separator and holders for a remote control, beverages and napkins. Think you have what it takes to rule the popcorn court? I’m assuming you can remove the hoop and shoot it straight in your mouth.

Commodore’s MLB-themed gaming rigsMLB fans will love these MLB-themed gaming PCs from Commodore. Whether they will hit a home run with them is hard to say, but Baseball fans now have their own fancy machines. The officially licensed desktops feature an exclusive C-kin high-definition paint job and a Core i7 inside.

Don’t expect them to be cheap. The paint job process alone is much like the one on your car. Not some vinyl sticker. It’s baked on. Additional teams will be added in the coming weeks.

R2 Fish School Training Kit

R2 Fish School Training KitFor those who want to train their fish to do all kinds of un-fish-like stuff, check out this R2 Fish School Training Kit that’s got nothing to do with R2-D2. I’m guessing it’s for those who want to enter there fish in the fish Olympics. It was created by noted fish-training expert, Dr. Dean Pomerleau and the R2 Solutions team.

The kit employs basic marine mammal training techniques. Basically if you promise them food, they’ll do all kinds of tricks. Who knew? It’s like the whole What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar?, but with fish. Your little pets will learn how to limbo, slalom, fetch, play basketball, jump through hoops, and more. If the fish Olympics don’t exist yet, they will soon and I’ll be right there betting on guppies playing Basketball. At least until various steroids scandals hit. $39.95 gets you into the shady world of fish training.

A blacker Black Friday than usual

Posted in News by Chetz on November 22nd, 2007

Black Friday shopping sales not expected to be as great as previous yearsIt’s been a tradition that as millions of families recover from their Thanksgiving turkey dinners they start formulating battle plans for Black Friday shopping deals. But with a slowing economy, a shaky housing market, high gas prices and weakened consumer confidence many sales industry analysts are predicting that this year’s Black Friday won’t be anywhere as crazy as those from recent years. Many stores such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, CompUSA, J.C. Penney, Toys-R-Us and more have already had the prices of their products lowered after Halloween hoping to spark slugging store sales.

“I don’t expect to see the crazy knock-the-door-down crowds as usual,” said Marshall Cohen, the chief economist of the consumer research company NPD Group. “Where you had 500 people at 5 A.M. last year, this year you’ll see 200.”

Novint Falcon 3 dimensional controllerForce feedback joysticks have been around for over a decade but there hasn’t been a stick made that could simulate the three dimensions of an object until Novint made the Falcon. If you think this unit looks like a robot rather than a joystick you would be right.

The joystick element of the controller is raised above the surface of the resting platform so when you grip it with your hand you’re pushing at it in three dimensions. Sensors detect any movement that your hand makes, updating the data to your machine a thousand …
