iHome iA100ZE iPad alarm dock

iHome is trying hard to get noticed in an over-saturated market. But putting an iPad onto a fairly standard FM radio / alarm clock / dock just seems odd. However, if you like the idea, this dock seems quite capable.

It sports iHome+Sleep app integration, and Bluetooth. We wish we had more info, but we have no idea when it ships, or for how much. So there you have it. The first official iPad docking alarm clock. Who’s buying one?

If you like your clock to look like nature and have a thing for Woodpeckers, here’s a clock for you. It was designed by Natalie Duckett. The Woodpecker Alarm Clock has no clock face to tell the time. Instead it will measure how long you have been asleep and wake you up when you’ve had the right amount.

I don’t need to stinkin woodpecker clock to tell me when I’ve had enough sleep, but hey that’s just me. There are two alarms, one for the evening, telling you when to go to sleep, and one in the morning, telling you when to wake up.

The OZAKI iMini Cute IP830RAINBOW iPod dock from Japan lives up to it’s name, as it comes in a range of rainbow colors that will appeal to those of you who need more color in your life. Features include an integrated FM radio, a built-in speaker, a 2″ full range driver unit and amp, and an LCD display.

It also doubles as an alarm clock and can connect to other compatible devices via the Line IN port. It will cost you about $75 after conversion and hits Japan May 15th.

iHome updates iP90 iPhone/iPod alarm clock dock

iHome has been in the market for accessories like docks for the iPhone and iPod for a long time now. The company has announced that its iP90 alarm clock dock for the devices has been updated for 2010.

The iP90 has a larger display now than previous models and better sound. The treble and bass are adjustable and the device uses Reson8 stereo speaker chambers. Other features include multiple alarms and programmable snooze times.

Yeah we hear ya. Yes this is yet another alarm clock speaker system for your iPhone or iPod touch. However the iHome iA5 App-driven Alarm Clock Speaker System was specially designed to work with the company’s iHome+Sleep app, which allows users to adjust the clock’s time, alarm, and EQ settings right from the iPhone itself.

By equipping the speaker system with the app users get up to 18 additional software alarms and nap alarms, and can browse local weather information. Owners can also set snooze or program wake alarms that can play movies or songs. A line-in jack allows for connecting additional audio devices.

The Kenwood AS-iP70 digital photo frame looks like a typical photo frame, but it has something extra. An iPod/iPhone dock. Even better, the dock can be put away when not in use. The device supports memory cards and USB flash drives too, and of course displays the pictures on it’s 7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) TFT display.

You also get an AM/FM radio with an alarm function, so it doubles as an alarm clock. The only bad part is that there’s no video playback. Look for the Kenwood AS-iP70 to be released in April, when it will cost you about 25,000 Yen (or $274).

We’ve seen our share of projection alarm clocks, but now Sony has launched a stylish new projection alarm clock of their own, the Sony ICF-C717PJ. It’s designed to project the time on your bedroom wall or ceiling and can be set to different angles.

Some other features include a clock radio with dual alarms and an FM and AM tuner and you can wake up to the sound of a buzzer, or music from your iPhone or iPod.

The Twist Alarm Clock from D-Forme makes you think when you wake up. It uses two displays along with two rotatable sections to give you a math problem to solve, thereby truly waking you up and making you think.

The alarm won’t shut off until you solve the math problem. For example 2 + 5 = 7. The idea is that you aren’t really awake unless your brain is functioning. The Twist Alarm clock is only available in Japan at the moment, where they are excellent in math in the morning, for just $30.
