Be your own PI with the CSI Stick
These days it’s easy to be your own detective. No need to hire a Magnum PI or some other guy who had a show in the 80′s, just to tell you if your wife is having an affair or not. Paraben’s Cell Seizure Investigator (CSI) stick will tell you. It does have the potential to wreck lives, so it comes with a warning “buy it with discretion.” With this gadget, you can get all the dirt you need for a personal forensic analysis.

That includes sent and received SMS’s, contacts, and call list. The device is only compatible with a few mobile phones at the moment, from Samsung and Motorola. Using adaptors, the manufacturer hopes to expand that compatibility. The forensic analysis of the data can be carried out with PC-based forensic software provided.

Mini MOB Mobile phone retro brick styleThe makers of the Mini MOB mobile phone apparently feel that a little nostalgia might help spur some mobile phone sales, letting the cutting edge business man of the 80′s relive the days of carrying a brick-style phone around (unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a super-sized charging cradle to match).

Like the Brick Phone we saw earlier this year, the Mini MOB does bring some modern features into their neo-brick including a camera, MP3/MP4 player and a miniSD memory card slot and an included 128 MB card. The phone is also slightly smaller than those heavy solid models of 20 years ago measuring 11cm tall by 3.5cm wide (and an estimated 4cm deep). It comes with two batteries that are charged through a USB cable and take advantage of the extra size with 30 days of standby and 3 days of continuous talk time.

1980’s Brick Cell PhoneSince the first flip phone came out in the early 90′s mobile phones just haven’t been the same, and it just wouldn’t be right if the Brick passed up reporting on this retro style 1980′s cell phone. A brick can mean a number of different things; solid and reliable, some gadget rendered useless by time or technology and of course a great big heavy cell phone that makes you taste pennies and forget your name after more than 15 minutes of continuous use.

The 80′s Brick Cell Phone model FY8850 is an actually working mobile …
