Belkin offers new iPod nano 4g cases |
Belkin offers more accessories for the iPhone and iPod than you can shake a stick at. One of the things that most iPhone or iPod owners do first is add a case to their device to protect it from drops and scratches during daily use.
Belkin has announced new iPod nano 4G cases in two series called the Belkin Micra and Fusion cases. All of the cases are available right now globally except for one pattern of the Micra case called Flow. The Micra cases offer textured graphics and are clear to allow the color of the iPod to be seen. The Micra line includes the Glam, Dusk, Chex, and Flow. All of the cases sell for $19.99 each.

The makers of the Mini MOB mobile phone apparently feel that a little nostalgia might help spur some mobile phone sales, letting the cutting edge business man of the 80′s relive the days of carrying a brick-style phone around (unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a super-sized charging cradle to match).
The 2007 Nobel Prize for physics was awarded joinlty to French physicist Albert Fert (pictured left) and German physicist Peter Grünberg for their work in magnetoelectronics, also known as spintronics. The two each made independent discoveries of magnetoresistance back in the 80′s, which uses the spin of electrons to store and transport information instead of using an electrical charge. This discover allows more data to be stored in a smaller physical space and in under a couple decades led to radically smaller hard drives for common items such as laptop computers, smartphones and iPods.
Since the first flip phone came out in the early 90′s mobile phones just haven’t been the same, and it just wouldn’t be right if the Brick passed up reporting on this retro style 1980′s cell phone. A brick can mean a number of different things; solid and reliable, some gadget rendered useless by time or technology and of course a great big heavy cell phone that makes you taste pennies and forget your name after more than 15 minutes of continuous use.
